View Full Version : Top Scorer 09/10

So then, who do you reckon is in for it? First, from your club, then in your league.
I hope Bent does well. I'd expect him to nick a few though I think both him and Jones will do alright. But I'm saying Bent for me.
And in the league... I dunno. Gerrard maybe. He always does pretty well in the scoring stakes. Why can't he be top scorer? I felt a bit cheated last season when Anelka won the golden boot. I would've prefered Ronaldo to win it because I honestly didn't think Anelka was anything special. He just used pace and finish and I know that's all you need to be a scorer but he hardly had everyone raving like Ronaldo did.

I think Rooney will get top scorer for United this season with about 17 goals.
The leagues top scorer imo is gonna be Adebayor (that's if City play him every game cos they have like 10 strikers). I also think it could be Nicolas Anelka.

I think Rooney top Goalscorer. Now that hopefully he will be playing in a Central role.
Hmm i think Torres. He's always get pass the 25 goal mark so it will be interesting contest between the two.
owen will score 50 in all comps this season.
ERM srsly i think Rooney

Think I'll put a £10 on that ;).
Umm, for us I think it'll be tied between about 6-7 players on 1 goal, with Hahnehehehenenemann in there somewhere aswell.
For the Premier League (I love saying that :D), Torres/Gerrard.

I went to watch wolves when they were last in the PL against Leicster(sp) at home when they were 0-3 at half time and came back to 4-3. First match i ever went too see and i still have my scarf which says premier wolves. LOL now i can use it again..

No one. We still don't have a striker of note.
In the PL I reckon Van Persie.

in the championship i hope freddie sears bags the most goals.
premiership id say its hard to bet against Torres if he stays fit.
Adebayor for city, Torres for League if he doesn't get injured like last season.

I recon Arshavin if he continues his form. If not then Torres or Anelka.

Tough one to call but I'm quite liking the Arshavin shout.
Cardiff's will probably be McCormack if he stays or Chopra.

I'd say Rooney due to his position and importance in United this year and he will be the one leading them since Rono is gone :)

Berbatov isn't really a bad player though. I'd love it we bought him this summer then he suddenly started performing.
