It's not in the literal way meaning a big band. It basically means a big production, ie. Live music from a big band of musical intruments. Songs that were to be picked were meant to be able to take advantage of this. U2 don't exactly use trumpets and what not, that's what there point was

They had a concert with Sclub 7 and I went to their hotel afterwards and met them. Calvin actually gave me his trainers at the time lol I think he signed them or something. I've been to blackpool pleasure beach with Aaron too, when he came to stay with Stacey for a week.

Jamie Archer has reportedly been considering his future on The X Factor due to his worsening relationship with Simon Cowell.

Archer, 34, threatened to quit after he was banned from going on tour with Bon Jovi because he is contracted to the ITV show, reports The Sun.

A friend of the contestant claimed that he is also fed up with how he is being treated by his mentor Cowell.

"He was on the verge of quitting at the weekend because he was so angry at being given rubbish songs and some judges' comments. He hasn't forgiven Simon for changing his song," they stated.

"Their relationship is not great. There were already serious cracks but now it's more like the Grand Canyon. Jon Bon Jovi came up to him after the Sunday show, told him he liked him and offered him a support act role on the tour.

"Jamie was thrilled but his contract means he is tied to X Factor and wouldn't be able to do it. He was absolutely gutted and it made for a tense week between him and Simon."

A virus has meant that Archer has been rehearsing with a "croaky" voice for this evening's performance and will apparently be singing a song which is "out of his comfort zone".

Jamie isn't even being given a chance. I'd almost say Simon is trying to **** it up for him :l as he's got two other very strong contestants in his group. Its the whole ratings battle between X Factor and SCD. Simon wants/needs the ratings. John and Edward are controversial, they are constantly in the papers, being talked about etc. It doesnt help things when Cheryl Cole says she loves them then votes them off, I mean whats up there? Lucy was FAR better than John and Edward, Lloyd and John and Edward should have been in the bottom two.

I may have been wrong about Jamie winning it, but I was certainly right about Danni having the most sense out of the lot. As soon as Louie said 'I'll be keeping the one who has the most potential to improve', before the two performances, I immediately knew he was sending Jamie home. (Most potential to improve = worst singer. Well done Louie :eusa_clap).

After the twins said 'is that all you can do?' about Calvin Harris' prank, I wouldn't be surprised if the same thing appeared back at them on his Twitter :P.

Anyway, at least Jamie can now go touring with Bon Jovi if their offer is still open, which would be a hell of lot better for him than winning this joke of a competition. I'd much rather see him as a rock star than a "pop" star, as he is meant to be anyway.

I think Olly is the strongest left in, closely followed by Stacey (apparently they've hooked up? :O). Hmm. Like Susen Boyle's, Mariah Carey's performance must have been pre-recorded. I thought she lip-synced the entire song because she didn't do a very good job of miming, yet when she gave thanks to the crowd, her mouth moved seperately. It must have been pre-recorded and the direct recorded audio dubbed over badly.

Still, nothing comes close in awfulness to the contestants lip-sync at the start of every show.

What's funny is, you can predict the outcome post-series. Rumour has it that Jedward already signed a deal a few days ago to produce one album and become TV presenters, but it's truly inevitable that they'll be a flash in the pan and in a year everyone will be like, "Jed-who"?
