I'm going into hospital tommorow to get pumped full of iron. I'm getting it intraveinously (through a vein via needle) because I don't have a very high iron count in my blood due to my Crohns Disease. It takes about 2-4 hours, I can't be ****** with it. I hate hospitals and this is the first time I'll be having the iron in my blood stream (this way atleast). It's supposed to burn when it goes in which is fairly daunting but I'll supposedly be full of energy. Let's see what happens. :)
Nurses always seem to take every opportunity they can to feel me up when I go there
Anyway, sounds good apart from the needle, I have to take Insulin jabs sometimes because my pancreas produces uncontrollable amounts of insulin, sometimes average ammounts and soemtimes very low ammounts.
Edit; Hasn't anyone ever noticed how many indians are at the hopsitals now
I've got phalasemia (can't spell it) so I've got low iron in my blood, never been called to the hospital over it though.
Good luck anywho.
