Yeah always happens,

Everytime I play a game, go on youtube, and download a movie, they seem to wanna shut my operation down lol :P

They gimme a free update from 2MB to 10MB as part of their increase of packages,

So im happy :D

But yeah, its annoying, give them a ring, let them know..

But they give you a list of reasons including "Your accessing at peak times, its like that for everyone" or some other made up stuff :D

That's congestion, not made up stuff.

That's congestion, not made up stuff.

But that is generally an excuse for ISP's to use, as a consumer cant prove otherwise..

I am aware of the logistics of the interent, bandwidth and congestion, Im simply saying that they will regard that answer as a standard or protocol answer to anything you say, As a joke, not literal,

Thanks for you Eagle eye :D

Nope, but what model is your modem? I had mine for about 3 years and when it eventually went the engineer that VM sent said it should have been replaced ages ago.

To find out your current modem:
http://192.168.100.1/

To replace your modem for free: http://allyours.virginmedia.com/html/existingcustomers/faster/current_service_20MB.html

Just select self-installation which is SO easy and takes 20 seconds at tops
