Room Advertisments?

Hi,

I seen a post in the VIP information forum saying can we pay to get our rooms advertised on Habbox.

I don't think you can at the moment, (excuse me if you can) and I think it would be a great idea to implement this?

Are you meaning cash or habbo equivalent?

It would need to be like 10c a week or something? But I doubt Habbox would bother doing it for anything other than (reasonable amounts of) cash.

This would have to be quite a big donation though... seeing as you can donate for other purposes. It would cost more than getting VIP or whatever it is now.

We could get a team for advertising and control what's advertised, the people that want their room advertised could pay in Habbo or real life cash to a member of this team. Obviously, paying real life cash to a stranger is not the brightest thing to do, so I think paying in-game would be the best idea.

Another idea, you could do competitions to get your room advertised or choose the room of the month, hosted by Habbox users. There are many ideas we can use to make this work, it just needs time and thought.

I think this could be implemented to good effect. I think people should be given the chance to pay furniture to have their rooms advertised. Such furniture could be give back to events, hxl, hxhd or what ever department needed it at the time. Sure way to get furni :)

They would if it was furniture I reckon. "Give a donation and get your room posted here!" would more than likely work.

Habbo don't allow enhanced features as a reward for payment but they obviously allow a different coloured username and a special user-bar that says "Donator". A room advertisement would be no different :).

I am currently working on a system regarding room advertisement. But waiting on a full team of management to return it is something planned for Q3.

I was originally thinking about having trade rooms and furni shops sponsoring each category for a piece of Habbo furniture which we would use for Competitions but this may be a more suitable idea.

Hrmmph, Habbo won't allow it as habbox won't need to pay money for credits e.t.c.

I'm sure habbox doesn't pay for credits anyway, i've seen people donate a lot (habbo wise) :S

Maybe if the sponsoring was made in a value of credits we could allow it so as oppose to £3 if someone donates us £3 worth of credits. I think this idea is adaptable.

Also I am trying to get some large stake prizes involved for the future. Things like 500 credits etc.

That argument isn't really going to present itself all that well, lol. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have an issue with it providing it was furni orientated rather than cash, just what I reckon.
