Okay, I was going to go to Blackpool Pleasure Beach next Thursday (13th August) via the train, but i've just looked at the prices and for some reason they are about 10x the price they were last year (Like over £50) - But I really want to go again! :'(

If anyone can find me a way to get there - even if you have to change at like 10 different places - I don't care as long as it's cheap, then i'll actually buy you some VIP/Donator and give you rep and stuff!

It needs to fall under these 'guidelines' though...

Wolverhampton to Blackpool Pleasure Beach (Doesn't matter about in between, as long as we get to BPB eventually!)
Thursday 13th August
Under £15 for a child, and under £20 for an adult
Arrive at Blackpool by 10:30ish (AM)
Leave Blackpool at 20:00ish (8:00PM)

Thanks guys - and don't forget... FREE DONATOR AND REP FOR HELP! :)

I went to Blackpool yesterday but was only travelling from Liverpool, and it took about 2 hours there and back, and it cost us £15.30 each. I suggest you get open return as if you do happen to miss a last train, you can return the next day, instead of buying new tickets.

I have just checked National Express and Thetrainline and the National Express cost £42.00 for one adult return, with one change there and back, but you would have to be at the station in the morning for about 6, and the station at Blackpool in the evening for half 7.

Thetrainline was even more expensive costing about £70 for one adult return.

I don't know why the price is so high. For what we paid it is extremely expensive, yet the journey seems about same.

Only other option like someone mentioned is coach. Or other companys which take you and pick you up by car for between £20-£40.

Alright, thanks anyway!

I might have found some tickets for £16 to £20 each return - so fingers crossed!

So you're saying you got from Wolverhampton to Blackpool for £8 (which you claim is an adult price)?

Did you book 8 years early or something?

Booked 2 weeks in advance, Wolverhampton to Preston, Preston to Blackpool and return - adult price, £8. :)

Ahh that ain't bad. I think we ended up paying £32 each return Doncaster - Leeds - Blackpool. Still not bad though.

Let me know if you have a good time, I'm off next month I think.

I sugest you get a child ticket to Blackpool. It is much cheaper, It cost me from Stoke On Trent around £12.50 for 2 tickets (Return). It probably is around £5-6 pound more expensive from Wolverhampton, but if you look under 16, you can get away with it.

You got owned Bio, you could've got a group saver from the train station if you had asked, it would've been like 32 quid yeah.
