I am having a few problems with popups recently, and unfortunately, alot of it is pornographic material. Not what you want to have your little brother see, so I really need a decent popup blocker.
Any suggestions?
+rep(although it aint much) for anybody who is willing to help :)

I have the Google Toolbar one. But some popups still come up. I'm not sure if I have one on my laptop though?! xD Google Toolbar is compatible with IE.

I have tried it before, after seeing it recommended by so many people, but I simply can't get used to it.
IE is all I'm comfortable with. Call it a bad Habit xD

I find Google Chrome has the best built in pop-up blocker, it manages to catch all the ones that get by Firefox.

Use a real browser, or at least update the current one in to the right decade. You'll find the feature comes a standard when your not useing a browser made in 2001

It's not the browser is it? It's adware and malware or w.e

Hmm good point. If you get popups now that were not there before, its quite likely it is malware thats infected IE, rather than actual ads from the sites.
If IE's infected chances are you have bigger things to worry about, solution like before though is get a real browser, or at least update to one not 8 years out of date :)

I just got rid of these, if you try AVG then it should get rid of them.
If not then try googling them

A computer that has malware on it can never be trusted again.
I advise reinstalling windows if IE is infected.
However you lose all my respect if you don't move to FF, you are one of the 70% who think that IE is 'ok' and 'works'. It is the most insecure piece of junk, even (Brace yourselves) Opera is a teeny bit better. FF is faster(ish), can use plugins, more secure, better rendering e.t.c.
