I really like a girl, and she knows. She tells me she loves me - kisses me and constantly texts me; 300 texts in a day.
Then, my mate was on the phone to her, and she told him she likes me as a friend and loves him.
I then ask her if she still loves me and she says yes.
I love her with all my heart but I feel that it is time to let go of her?
Ugh.

Yeah it is, she probably doesn't really like either of you and just likes the attention. I have no doubts that she's seeking drama, and who can be bothered with that?

But why would you be in love with someone like that? Really, it will be healthier in the long run for you to just get out of it while you can, there is a million girls out there who will have the qualities you like about her who don't do the idiotic things she does, and people rarely end up with their first love, better to learn the lessons and move on - to better things.
I hope you feel better :)

To be blunt you are most probably not in love. And as blunt as it sounds she sounds like she will settle for anything that shows an interest but hm whatever. She obviously doesn't love you if she quickly goes and 'loves' your mate. It all sounds really childish but yeah I hope it works out. You're still young and will have alot more relationships to come so don't worry.

thats realy out of order on you. just going of with someone else. but if your mate is your mate then he shouldnt aggree and go off with her.

Sorry but it sounds like the girl is having mixed emotions and it's not true love, perhaps you should ask her to be clear and loyal about how she feels, and if she doesn't know, it's up to you whether you wait or try and move on.
