Best time to put name down for College?

I want to make sure that i don't miss out on the College i want to go to.

I'm going into year 11 so when is the best time to put your name down to a College to avoid disapointment?

Check the websites and make sure you ask for a brochure/ prospectus of the Colleges you are interested in and go to an open day(s). I don't think its too early to start thinking about it and thinking about what course you want to do. I changed my mind a couple of times after speaking to the lecturers.
The sooner you apply the more chance you have of getting the course you want and it also you can check exactly what gcses & grades you need to get in.

Just checked on their website, they do have courses that i may want to do when i go to College. I have no idea when is the next opening day so i think I'll phone and just ask them when is the best time applying and when is the next opening day.
