Summer Scandal!

Have YOU ever had a summer scandal? Maybe you've forgotten to take your favourite shorts on holiday? Or you've forgotten your sun cream! Well, if the answer to that question is Yes, you'll be a great help. If you've never had a summer scandal, now's the time to try!

I was sitting in my garden a few days ago, soaking up the sun, when I heard a knock on the front door, I sighed and got up to answer it, turns out it was the postman, he had a letter and a parcel. I had to re-read the letter a few times to make sure I wasn't daydreaming, it said,

Dear Chantelle,
You wouldn't believe the situations I get myself into, I've got a bit of a problem. You see, I'd planned to go to Spain for my holiday, the flight went perfect, and the food was great, you wouldn't believe how HOT it was, it's a good thing I packed 10 tubes of sun cream. On my third night, I went to a concert with some friends I'd made, halfway through a song, everything suddenly went black and...

That's all I could read on the letter, the rest appears to be smudged, however, I did manage to decipher the last bit, here it is,

Scotland was great, but I never did get to see the Loch Ness, make sure you write back and comment on everything I said, I know what you're like when it comes to replying to letters.
Susan

Now, as you can see, I have a bit of a problem, how am I supposed to comment on everything, when the letter is smudged, I've decided to pretend what might of happened, and hope I get it right but my imagination isn't too great, so I was hoping YOU could help me. Just write a small section explaining how she managed to get from Spain to Scotland, and make it exciting, everything fun seems to happen to her!

The next thing I knew, a really really bright light was shining in my eyes! I put my hands up to my face and rubbed my eyes, then tried to shade them as I peered around to see what was going. All I could hear was the sounds of concert fans yelling and my friends shrieking in excitement. I tried to step forward to move out of the light, but then I heard the lead singer of the band say over the mic, “Congrats to our lucky fan pick of the night! You there, in the spotlight, come on up on stage!!” I couldn’t believe it! My mouth dropped open and all I could do was point at myself and say, “Me?”. I heard him laugh on the mic and then he said, “Yes, you. Come on up!”

I couldn’t believe it! I stepped forward out of the blinding spotlight to find two security guards waiting to escort me to the front. They helped me make my way through the crowd and then when I got to the stage, the lead singer (who by the way, looked like a greek GOD, he was so gorgeous!) reached down and grabbed my hands and helped me climbed up on stage. Away from the mic, he whispered to me. “I’m Rob, nice to meet you. I’m glad the spotlight landed on you.. you’re cute!”

I still couldn’t say anything, all I could do was nod and grin back at him. Next thing I knew he threw the mic in my face and the band started playing again. “Sing along!” he said in my ear, and then promptly started to belt out the song he’d been playing. I didn’t know the words, but heck – if a cute guy tells you to sing, you sing! I started dancing and making up the words, belting them out. I looked over at him and he smiled back, shouting, you’re a natural! I grinned happily back, and kept singing, adding in some more dance moves. Before I knew it the song had ended. He looked at me, then looked at the crowd and shouted into the mic, “well, should we keep her?!” The crowd roared and my face turned totally red – I can’t believe they liked me! He looked back at me and laughed, “well, looks like you’re going to have to stay on stage with us!”. So that is EXACTLY what I did! We sang through another 4 songs before they did one last encore song and got off stage. They took me with me back to the green room for some water and so I could get their autographs. My friends came around and I told the security guards to let them in. I introduced everyone, and the guys in the band told us they were heading to a party and wanted to know if we would like to join.

We of course, said yes! We asked them where it was – we had a car but we’d need directions. They looked at each other and laughed. Rob turned to me and said, “well.. it’s not exactly within driving distance. We’ve got a jet out back if you want to hop in? We’ll bring you back in the morning! It’s out in the Scottish Highlands but I promise it’ll be fun! Hey, we can even swing you by the Loch Ness and see if we can spot a monster or two!”

A. Jet. They invited us to their jet. Me and my friends were so stunned, we didn’t even look at each other, we all just shouted out the word YES! at the same time. The guys in the band laughed and then we all went out to the jet. It lifted off and we went to Scotland. The party was fantastic – it was filled with all sorts of famous people and I got tons of autographs (including a few for you!). We ended up staying in Scotland for 2 more days after the party – the band boys decided to take us on a tour of sights in Scotland since they’re all Scottish and they had a few days off between then and their next performance. Unfortunately, it rained the entire time so we decided not to go the Loch Ness. Finally they flew us back to Scotland. Rob kissed me goodbye though!! And gave me his number and told me he'd call whenever he was in the area. I can't wait!! I'll introduce you to him if he's ever home when you're there.

So after that we drove ourselves back to where we were staying. My friends all decided to sleep since they were exhausted, but I was really awake so I’m writing you this letter. I can’t wait for the rest of my vacation so I can explore Spain. I hope your summer is going well! But yes, Scotland was great, though I never did get to see the Loch Ness, make sure you write back and comment on everything I said, I know what you're like when it comes to replying to letters.

On my third night, I went to a concert with some friends I'd made, halfway through a song, everything suddenly went black…

There was an atmosphere of panic and anxiety; nobody knew what was going on. I heard door slam and a scream from the toilets, in a panic I put my arms out in front of me to feel if anybody was there, I found someone – who, I still don’t know… anyway, I asked what was going on, nobody knew… the lights came back up in the hut and the look on everybody’s face told me that I wasn’t the only one to hear the scream. The atmosphere for panic and anxiety quickly shifted into one of alarm and discomfort, over in the corner stood a short man, short hair of a dark complexion with a sly smirk on his face, he seemed slightly strange; I didn’t think anything of it, I decided the best idea would be for my friends and I to leave the concert and go elsewhere… We went to a bar, and began drinking, dancing and “digging” it. I had a great time there! Slowly, but surely the events of that night wore off as I drunk more, I was that drunk my friends had to carry me home, oh what an embarrassing state I was in! Anyway, we got a taxi back to the apartment, in the campus (where the concert was), there was the funny man stood in the corner on his Larry, I alerted my friends who told me that there was nothing to worry about.

I went inside to my apartment, got ready for bed; I brushed my teeth WITH SPANISH TOOTHPASTE! Which, surprisingly, tastes like deli sausage? Anyway, I climbed into bed a heard a door open, I looked into the doorway and there was that man… that is all I remember, here I am with a bruised eye and broken leg…

PTO.

NOT!
Hahaha! Had you worried there, I didn’t even go to Spain in the first place!
I went to Scotland to launch my new book, about how to get rich on Habbo Hotel, I had a great time, browsing the Northern country… it was so much fun! I went to John O’Groats, which was certainly interesting… £25 for a photograph? I think not!

Scotland was great, but I never did get to see the Loch Ness, make sure you write back and comment on everything I said, I know what you're like when it comes to replying to letters.

Anyway, I best go, I have a lot to be doing.

I suddenly felt a feeling of imbalance, different music started playing, bagpipes. I felt someone grab my hand and before I knew it I was gagged and being carried, if anyone else was aware I do not know. My unfortunately timed loss of voice meant that I couldn't scream.

The first time I got a look at my kidnappers was in the back of a van. Once we had been driving for a good 20 minutes when my blindfold was taken off. I was shocked to see 2 men watching me intently. Both wearing kilts, constant scowls on their faces.

'I'm Dinasaw, beware of me' said the first kilt clad man. ' I have my contacts, do as I say - do not question me.. or my twin brother, Donosaw'. Dinasaw stared at the other man who I now realised was his twin and they both broke out in evil laughter. I was confused, why had they kidnapped me? what were they going to do with me? Where did I recognise them from? Of course all these questions could have been asked if I could speak.

Donosaw looked at me, 'Don't you talk?' he asked, I gestured that I couldn't and had lost my voice but all I got was a puzzled look. Dinasaw looked like he understood, he reached behind him and grabbed a plate and fed me some haggis. 'This will help' he reassured me, as a gullible person I took a bite and as if by magic I could speak again. It was like some sort of miracle, I almost forgot I should be scared.

I got my thoughts together and decided it was time to find out what was going on.

'You owe me and will repay your debts right now' demanded Dinasaw. 'What???' I exclaimed. All I wanted was answers, the reality of the possible danger I was in was starting to dawn on me, not because of common sense but because I spotted a gun in the hand of Donosaw (you know how slow I can be) - Did I mention it had been pointed against my head the whole time, crazy world.

'Mind moving the gun? It's just it makes me feel slightly uncomfortable..' I asked. 'Sure thing, should have just asked.. but don't try anything else I will blow your brains out' shouted Dinasaw. I gulped, he laughed. I was confused as to what was funny. 'Just kidding!!1' he said.

The next thing I knew I was sitting in a shop, surrounded by tartan. There was a note next to me, I read it.

'This won't make sense but with this note you will find money to get back home, we thought you were someone else. Oops!! Feel free to visit anytime, considering the circumstances it was quite fun. I didn't think so, I was confused, lost and worried. That was until I saw all the cash next to the note, there was £2,000. I grabbed it and left. I bought so many things on my way home and although I should actually be worried about what happened to me, I'm not because I'm really shallow and would like to stop writing now.
