HxSS Quiz Questions

Yeh, even though i'm not taking part in the Summer Spectacular this year still gonna post my opinion :P

From the few events ive been watching i think something needs to be done about the questions for the events.

About 85% of the questions were basically "Name the ____ manager" "Name 3 ____ DJ's" as the HxSS isnt just aimed at the habbox community but instead random people aswell who then sign up to the forum and join the teams i fail to see how these questions are fair to them, or for that fact old members who haven't studied the staff lists.

I think habbox need to do more varied questions including ones about forum, site, history etc rather than just name staff members, it's not hard to think of questions about habbox tbh so i fail to see why 85% of the questions are based on the current staff list.

Meh just my suggestion/opinon ^^

It's true to an extent. I've only been away for a few months and find it hard to answer these questions, especially the management ones because of the changes recently. A few of them is ok, but in a few quiz's I've noticed a lot of these and it puts me off doing them.

I agree to a extent about the variance of questions, but what you're saying about the target audience doesn't make sense. If it's HxSS, I don't know who it can be aimed at other than the Habbox Community :P.

Probably 25-50% of people aren't habbox members usually as usually the events organiser or whoever taking control of the event has to spam to everyone how to join a team or what HxSS actually is so its not as if its a closed event JUST for habbox members, its open just requires people to join in order to play for a team, but most of them wont know every member of staff and their position within habbox :P

Yeah there are a lot of questions about habbox but thats the main thing the competators have in common, so it makes sense. Sure not everyone will know them but not everyone will know the answer to other themes either? I have seen more GK questions being introduced lately though, which is great.

Yeh habbox questions are good, but EVERY question about Habbox STAFF LIST is just stupid as most people especially the newer people don't come on forums check the staff list and sit and study it, so aswell as giving an unfair advantage to those who do study the staff lists (hiya will) its not something their gonna have a clue about.

It's not as if habbox questions are limited to "Name __ manager" "Name 4 ___'s" its not hard to load the forum and find some questions off it or the site for that matter

They will get kind of repetitive after there is so many being done lol. I have tried to see if i can change any of next weeks quizzes to events instead to try and even them out :P

In addition to this, I've seen other hosts ask questions about themselves. For instance, I may know a lot about Habbox, but nothing about the host. And if you're asked where does this person live (Habbox Staff) or what's (Habbo Name) real name? How are we meant to know unless its stated in their username. I do agree that the questions need to be far more mixed. Taking music as an example, even though I hate Music, some quizzes there are way too little in them, and some way too many. And any quiz you play you are bound to be asked at least 5 "Habbox Staff" questions in one round.

Staff Changes have changed dramatically in the last year and most of them are new (no offence to the old ones) therefore they don't know as much about Habbox History or got to grips with previous events in the forum. I mean it's perfectly fine they are new but they should take the care to plan their quiz out than think on the spot and get the same questions every quiz, another thing I've noticed. It's just my opinion and I am not saying it is entirely right at all but this is my view on the HxSS Quizzes.

I would agree I've been in a quiz or two and the Habbox questions are quite tame, I personally would prefer Habbo(x) history questions more and it looks like the organizers and help desk staff that are working very hard seem to be implementing more of that.

In my mind a Habbo question is one about Habbo not a furni mission or a regular mission because that's mostly fastest typer :P

All of the quizzes are fastest typer :(. I dont even bother anymore cos Im slow!! :P

Yup exactly. I keep shouting for a Habbox History quiz :P. I'm far too slow a typer with my setup - slouched on my bed with my laptop on my legs! LOL

They are good and I did try my best to get some history ones in, but the thing is I've only been on habbox for a year now. So yes i know the basic history but not the specific ones so its a bit unfair that everyones shouting we want history, when I cant really give any as I dont know much about it. The same with Habbo history.

Habbo history aint that hard, lol just ask about previous managers, 3 items ione give out, when _____ hotel opened, name 2 hotels that are closed, or whatever lol.

not rli, 2 hotels closed most ppl wont pay attention so probs wont know

if you ask about a foreign hotel not everyone knows and would have to google or something so again not rli fastest typer ;p
