Nope, just purchase a .com/.net/.co.uk one, you can get them for next to nothing nowadays.

I have a .co.cc site that I put flash games on for school and people seem to remember it easy enough. At least its unique!

I would never.
.com's are £4.95 from devote host but as said, I'd go with UK2.net and .info's are your cheapest at the moment I thnk.

I'm almost sure you can get .co.uk domain free still?

no you can't unfortunately, www.ovh.co.uk stopped doing the offer, AFAIK.

I'd say if you're doing a fansite of HABBO.CO.UK then I'd buy a .CO.UK, as it relates more to the UK server, though if you're making a worldwide fansite then .COM is probably your best bet.
