ok so i want to get a laptop. i have a desktop and my mum and dad have a laptop. but i wanted to get a laptop for myself so i can lounge around with it as with a desktop you cant exactly put it on ur lap. that way i can take it out in the garden. but im having trouble persuading them. even though i will be paying for it. help me with persuasion.

Go for the green one. Make sure you select the right specs for your laptop tbh, getting the right specs will make sure you get the best performance computer for money.

I dont see what there problem is if your going to pay for it. Tell them you'll sell your desktop. I got my mum to get me a laptop buy saying if I pass my exams will you get my one and she said yes :P

Exactly what I was gonna say. I don't see why they won't let you get one if it's out of your money :S.

Btw, I don't like either of them really but if I had to pick then it'd be the 2nd one.

Get the second one and pick your specs etc and personalize it to best suit you Ie your a Radio DJ so unless you use an external hardrive get high Gb's for music storage etc..

i wont use it for djing its just genral lounge around use instead of being stuck in my room all the time. my dads starting to allow the idea but just netbooks at the moment and they have the green on eon net book so yeh. but just not sure at the moment to get it or not.
