Looks like a whole load of terrible CGI to me. Looks like Aliens is going to remain his best work.

Terminator 2 > Aliens. I think it looks fantastic, it's gonna be especially great in 3D.

Naive to think box office success equals a good film. Titanic is far from Cameron's best work, and far, far, far, far, far from the best work in cinema. The reason why it was a box office success? Two words: Leonardo DiCaprio.

It's a pity you couldn't have met Tarantino and told him that before he churned out Death Proof.

A film homage to exploitation cinema as I've said a few times recently. If you don't know about grindhouses, you won't fully understand.

Oh yeah because people love paying money to see **** movies over and over again. And Leonardo DiCaprio was hardly famous when that was made so that is ******** to why it was the biggest selling movie ever... i don't see all his other films making 2 billion+, it was a good film thats why it did so well....
now go back to lying about how you help direct that Ignominious *******s film or whatever the **** is called x

Quite the fool, aren't you. You appear to forget that prior to Titanic, Leonardo DiCaprio was an international sex symbol. You seem to ignore the existence of such films as The Quick and the Dead and Luhrman's Romeo + Juliet. It's common knowledge that the vast majority of the audience of Titanic were female. If box office success meant an utterly fantastic film, why isn't it in any "top film" lists? Your agument is totally flawed, pal. DiCaprio sold Titanic the same way that Heath Ledger's death sold The Dark Knight.
And no, I didn't help direct Inglourious *******s, nor have I ever said I did. I was a Production Assistant. And you can believe what you like, it honestly doesn't bother me - I'll just continue to take solace in the premiere ticket stuck on my wall and the money that's in my bank. That said, the film is a masterpiece, written and directed by a film-maker far more decorated than your apparently beloved James Cameron.
Please think, or at least have two brains to rub together film-wise before you try and discredit me.

The only reason i did not know he was known before titanic is because im not some 40 year old creep who comes onto a habbo forum.
Now just **** of somewhere else and act like your someone important
You will probs be directing ****** horror films for the rest of your life
40 year-old creep? I wonder who that could be - sure isn't the guy you're talking to who was born 19 years ago.
Your definition of films is idiotic, so I won't even bother to answer that one.

Yes, I know about films. And? I proudly announce that I'm a cinephile, and I'm not hiding anything. I'm not a Producer for a major production company for no reason, buddy.

Wow, you must really like titanic? lol.
What do you need to see? His Inglorious *******s credit?
All minor credits usually go out on IMDb after a month or two. That's what I heard someplace.

I don't care for you to see anything? I was saying that as you can via my IMDb profile, I am a Producer. And they're just two of the 6 feature films and TV shows I'm working on. In fact, I'm going to your native Ireland for 3 months next month to work on a live show. I'm glad most other Irish folk aren't so moronic.
Now, this is a thread about Avatar, so keep on topic and please discontinue to spout your nonsense. Thank you.

Is the live show - 'After Dark' ?

No, that's a feature film :)
The live TV show isn't on IMDb yet, so I can't say anything about it. I intend to keep supporters in the loop with what I'm allowed to say.
Wow, you must really like titanic? lol.
no im just saying its the top selling film for a reason and he is saying its ****...
and you said to look at your imbd so i could see you production company ****
It's really just a link to his production company website.

That's it.

I don't own the company or anything. And I must admit the website is currently in a state and hasn't been updated in a while.
And "Mwah", I never said Titanic was... whatever expletive you used. I merely said that box office success means nothing in terms of the quality of a film, and that it wasn't James Cameron's best work. Even being the highest grossing individual film of all time, die hard James Cameron fans would even choose both Terminator 2: Judgement Day and Aliens, before they say Titanic.
Damn this thread is all over the place, but yea, "best trailer ever" that was a terrible trailer, that did not make want to see that movie at all, they need to try harder next time, this movie looks looks pretty dull anyway, can't really think of what the best trailer ever is, depends what makes it the best trailer... whether it makes you want to see the film? Best put together? What? I can't imagine that trailer comes under any of the "best" categories anyway.

I suppose it would kind of depend on what films you enjoyed. I can't see there being a trailer that would universally appeal to everyone covering all genres, however I stand corrected if anyone finds such a trailer :P
