Certain genre shows

Hey, I was wondering do HxL have any like shows which play a certain genre e.g. classics. I know Jess and Scotty do the charts. It'd be nice for a few more different genre shows because most of the shows I hear something like black eyed peas I got a feeling or something like that and it gets quite boring after a while :P

Sorry for the late reply/ no one replying. But hey better now than never!

Well we don't have any specific genred shows. Though from what I hear, there is a bit of variety played, especially during the night/morning hours! If you want more variety of music you could always request. Now I know there's a chance a DJ may not have it, but hey stands a chance. As for genre specific shows, there needs to be interest from both DJs and listeners for if there isn't it wouldn't be as popular for the majority, and that's who we are ultimatly trying to please.

As I said just try and request most genred music and I know the majority, if not all of our DJs not the huge importance to play this variety, even with all this pressure to play the Black Eye Peas etc. from the requests. Hey, some even get fed up of these same old hits themselves.
