MTV to make US Skins

MTV have announced they have bought the rights to produce a state side version of Skins.

Well there goes a good show :( MTV are a content restrictive network, little swearing, no nudity and toned down sex references oh and less drug use will all likely be enforced thanks to US censorship. HBO, USA or Showtime should be doing the series, if anyone, what was wrong with just leaving this a UK show.

I'm a huge fan of Skins and I can see this US version being terrible, especially with MTV doing it.

I'll still watch it but won't be as gritty or shocking as the UK version.
