Yeah. I can do it quick, only on my phone though. On my mates phones I'm much much slower but that's primarily because I'm not used to texting on their phone whereas I text numerous times per day on my own phone so it's pretty self explanatory.

When I use both of my thumbs on my iPhone I can text almost as fast as I can on my laptop which is like lightening. Then on the old fashioned phones that have 3 letters per button I can text pretty fast considering it's one of them keyboards but it isn't actually that fast if you know what I mean. :/

I hate touch screen phones i suck with them. I text almost as fast as i type on my little 40.00 Nokia phone. But then again i'm a text addict. I remember i sent around 300 texts in a little over a day once o.O

I type really fast, i use an on-screen qwerty (HTC Magic) and if I make a small mistake I leave it and the phone corrects itself, all in proper grammer and spelling.

I use standard English also. I was pretty quick on my old phone. My current phone is crap and is really small so the buttons are too lose together for me really. On my mate's touch-screen I'm soooooo slow - I usually just tell him what to write and ask him to do it for me :P.
