This might sound ridiculously dumb but how long does it take to grow hair? I am currently attempting to not cut my hair (its about 2-4cm long at the moment) because i wanna see myself with long hair again.. By long, i mean maybe 10cm long, heck thats short to some but i am used to hair at the longest 2cm long..

So tips please.

10!!!?

That's like this..

Your hair will be going into your food. :P

And it depends really some people hair grows really really quickly.. A inch ever month or so even more for some... but if you want to make your hair grow even quicker... there's shampoos and relaxers that can do this for you.

I would say if you leave it how it is.. Shampoo every now and again, relax it every 6 weeks (Recommended has you hair can fall out) then maybe by the start of next year you will get to that stage?

It won't be this year though, i'm sure of.

Hair can grow on your surroundings. e.g. How much sun you get to your head. It can grow at the rate of 1cm a month. Also it depends on your diet. Have dairy, helped me. Also, your hair grows faster the shorter it is.

Took me about a year to grown it to around 10cm's, maybe less.
Your hair doesn't grow quicker when its short, its just because when its short you notice it growing but when its long you don't as much so it just looks like it grows quicker.

Mine takes about 6 months to get 10CM, I think. Then again I never really start from that short so I don't really know, lol.

My brothers and boyfriends (not the same person) take about 12 weeks to get that long i think it's not a huge amount of time.

I could take 6 - 12 months for it to grow that

Maybe not 100%

3 months?! thats means they would have hair down to their bums after a year.

Not long, not 6-12 months anyway... I'd say 2-3 months tops if it's from scratch.

I last got my hair cut just before my dad's funeral.. so that's just over a year and 4 months ago and I don't know where you measure from exactly but mine just sort of just covers the back of my neck. If I bring it to the side of my face it just reaches past my chin. It's not super-straight hair though :P.

I dunno if waiting this long is even worth it.. I think short hair suits me best anyway, its the way my family rolls!

And I am taking a guess from my scalp to the end, i dont pluck a hair and measure it ;)

It is so annoying though, when i shower (say about 1-2pm) i go to bed straight afterwards so it looks **** in the morning and at about 2am you REALLY don't feel like mucking around with hair :(

you just need to get into a routine
I wash my hair in the morning beofore school.
I dont wash it everyday though.

I wash it every other day. so like It take me about 45 minutes to completely get my hair in an alright look on a monday
then 15 minutes the new morning just styling and hopin it stays
[45mins would be for me like- 10 mins washing hair-10 mins dry- 10 mins straighten- 15-20 mins to style edpending ofc but a minimum off 45 mins to do my hair :>] :L
then carry that routine through out the week.. saves me alot off time.

And you should always condition your hair. to keep it in the best way possible. :>

Ohh and if your just beginging to grow your hair you need to get ti cut every so often so it doesnt go into a fro style if you understand?
xD

Enough off my rant. :L
you should grow your hair :L

Nah it slows dramatically after a while. Mine went to just past shoulder length in a matter of months and they started growing far slower. In the end after 5 years of not cutting it my hair was about 2 and half feet down my back. Utterly ridiculous and glad I cut it now but that's the folly of youth :P

My hair was short, and I grew it in about 6 months to get it my fringe to my eye brows. All depends on things like weather and how long you hair takes really?
