View Full Version : Wireless router setup (Linux) +10 REP

I've bought this router over a month ago.. and i haven't had the chance of setting it up.. seeing as i have NO hard drive.. :$ Netbooks for ya.

Anyway, theres some instructions on how to set up without using the dics but it's a bit confusing.. it's probably just me..

It's a D-link DIR-615 if it helps..

When i get to the wireless networks it shows up and when i go to connect, it connects (get a full signal) but i can't get on the internet..

I don't know if I've done this right.. on the manual it says

- Connect your PC to the router, using an Ethernet cable - (I've connected a part of the Ethernet cable from the cable modem to the wireless modem)

When i connected to the wireless router.. typed in http://192.168.0.1 and i couldn't get on to the page either. :rolleyes: :$

Right, I've done all of that..

Just bloody connecting to the internet after i'm on that page.. done all the settings.. everything is saved can't browse anywhere else.

:(

Oh and should i clone my mac address?
