Can you get your employer to be your referal or does it have to be someone from the school/previous collage you went too?

Yes i think you can ask your employer to refer you :)
Try it and if they say no, go into your school/college and ask them to fill it in :)

yeah but my collage attendance was like 58% or something so i'd rather have my employers do it :P.

I highly doubt you'll be able to get an employer to give a reference for sixth form/college.

I missed a fair bit of school yet my form tutor and head of year both gave me a good reference! I'm sure they would give you a good reference, i'm sure they'd like to see there students go futher in life :D

Try writing your old a school a letter, with the application form!
I don't see why they wouldn't fill it in for you.

I highly doubt you'll be able to get an employer to give a reference for sixth form/college.
They do for the first 10 years(?) after you've finished, and they can't give you a bad reference. At my school we got a form with our details on and had to write what we thought were our best qualities on it (with our tutor's approval of course) so they could give references in the future.
