View Full Version : Will the throne reach 100cs before it's next decrease?

The throne value is now 90 club sofas. Do you think the throne will reach 100cs before it's next decrease in value? (All values going by the value which Habbox shows). Personaly, I think no.

Yes, if demand keeps rising anything will happen ;)

my bet it will peak at 92 then decrease to around low 70's

hmm i see a pattern here between habbo values and runescape values. basically everything has sky rocketed because of the summer holidays the under 16's are not at school they are online. on games such as habbo and runescape.

because theres more people theres more demand id say and i believe after september most of theses supers with high values including the dragons, icm, pillows and monos will decrease significantly. thats whats expected on runescape next month with the high level armour, godswords etc i think the same will happen for habbo rare values too.

i said yes to it reaching 100 hcs but now im not so sure because i expect everything and anything to drop when the new school year starts.

I made it 5-5 :D.

I don't think the Throne is ever going to fall really. :s I mean demand for it has steadily risen since it was given out by ione and never sees to decrease. It might sound silly to say it will never decrease, but no matter how high it goes there's always a fair amount of people who are willing to go a HC higher just because they need Thrones and they can afford to. Thrones are like a currency so people always need them, the same as HCs (when I trade Thrones for HCs and vice versa, I'm never thinking about actually owning 90 HC Sofas, it's just the currency you hold until you find what you want to buy with them). Things get even better when people pay in un-pures; you can get up to and over 10CS profit that way.

Tbh, I expect it to hit the 100CS mark by next year, but ultimately whatever happens, even if it stays steady at 90CS for another year, I think the Throne will easily hit 100CS before it decreases.

The only way it can decrease is if the rich kids (I mean like the top 10 richest on Habbo) all talk to each other and say; 'Right, from now on don't pay more than 80CS for Thrones'. Better still, they could all trade their Thrones between each other for 80CS each (that would probably be well over 1000 Thrones changing hands) so the value would automatically become 80CS (not sure how Habbox would handle a situation like that though). Anyway, that's the only way it can happen but those guys have no reason to do that. It's in their best interests for the Throne to keep on rising really.

Out of interest, is this the highest it has ever been? And when was the last time it decreased?

I'd say no, because yes they are selling for 90 hc, but it isnt the easiest thing too get one for 90 hc..
Most people are selling for 89 hc or getting bulk unpure for them..
So i'd say if they do rise 92 hc would be the max.. then they will drop
Personally tho, i think they will drop soon.. demand isnt very high atm :)

No, They have risen because it is the Summer holidays, more people playing becoming more desperate for Thrones so they pay more.

As the next Semester kicks in people will stop playing and people will be able to pick up Thrones for cheap. o theyll end up dropping.

This is an interesting theory (I know it was mentioned earlier), I'd love to have access to some sort of data to see the trends of the Throne value over the past few years (or since it was distributed), based on an average value for each month.

Don't worry, I was just saying that in case the first person got upset about me commenting about it only after someone else had repeated it :P.

Fair enough mate. But i do feel that way. I have been around and about today in various super shops and observing friends posts. Thrones seem to be on there tipping point at the moment. The highest amount i have seen successfully trade today is 92, however the lowest was 87 so you cant really be sure.

I think it might eventually.

They throne seems to have risen in value since more and more people have been buying thrones for £££. For years the thrones value fluctuated between 19>22hc, so unless that dies down I doubt the value of the throne will decrease much or at all.

Aydan! I mean will it go to 100cs BEFORE it's next decrease in value.
Tbh, I think it's already decreasing :P not easy to sell them atm.

Persistence is the key. If you don't want to sell for less than 90, just say no :P.

Eventually thrones will rich 100hcs do i think it will be this year no thrones seem to increase over school holidays xmas times and halloween since i first started playing habbo 5 years ago thrones and steadily rised every year and i dont expect it to stop unless they get released or something major happens

I was thinking about this the other day as I paid 95 CS for a throne. It all depends on weighing the factors.

Things that make thrones go down:
- More in circulation (someone sells)
- Lower demand
- Staff release thrones

Things that make thrones go up:
- Higher demand
- Time (As people get perm banned or quit, less in circulation)
- Someone collects them (*cough*)

Personally, I don't see a decrease coming. I currently have 620 in storage, because I would rather keep them than supers - just personal opinion. If I were to continue collecting until I were to reach 1000 Thrones, what could that signal? Will thrones continue to rise as I try to remove them from circulation? It takes a large # of thrones to make an impact.

So, I voted Yes.

There's so many Thrones out there, that I don't think you'd never notice a difference in the amount in circulation just because someone sells a couple hundred.

As for collecting; you would need to collect a LOT to have even a slight majority. I mean fair dos if you have 620 hiding away (I agree you should keep them over supers) but that's still no way near a majority. There must be thousands on the hotel.

Elkaa once set himself a target which he eventually hit, it was either 500 Thrones or 1000 (I can't remember), but I'd say once you hit 1000, then you've got some serious pulling power ;).

i think if some got 1000ts in the real world they would have no pulling power with the ladies lol

I would agree with Jordang. His only thing he could comment on would be:

"ive got 1000 of the most sorted out items on a internet game"

I'm sure they'll love that :/
