How do sites like Puhekupla (http://www.puhekupla.com/) find images on Habbos database before they are released?

Because I really need a link to all of the catalogue headers in habbos /c_images/catalogue folder.

Thanks.

Well for badges they know all the country codes, and then all badges have a 3 character code after the country prefix I think, so they basically have a page with every possible combination on (as far as I know), and when one is created, it will show up or link from this page.

I imagine there's something similar for Catalogue Headers and all the different kinds of images.

When Habbo finally run out of combinations and have to use 4 characters or some other method, a whole new set will have to be written up by Puhekupla if they want to keep on top if it.

i know how to find the names of new furni but i think you extract the code from the source its in and use programs, maybe dreamweaver got knows, to extract an image from the code.

they have started using 4 digit codes

They use 5 digits codes nowadays (e.g. UK001).

Anywayz, there's scanners that go check all the badge codes and compare them with older database results, and so owners get a notification of a new badge.

With new furniture, people download the Habbo files off servers and check those files and, as with the badges, let the files be compared to older results and so they find the newer ones. Usually that are catalogue images and furniture or features.

Habborator has an Catalogue header archive: http://www.habborator.org/archive/catalogue.php
Lost Tribe Catalogue header; http://images.habbohotel.co.uk/c_images/catalogue/LT_header_nl.gif
nl can be changed into countrycodes.
In this topic (http://www.habborator.org/msgboard/thread.php?forum=3&thread=11) on Habborator you can find lots of urls of the latest headers.

I don't think you can because you never know what the new name of furnitures will be, unless you go and check the Habbo files.

Yeah, three digits after the prefix.

Thanks for the info, I knew you'd be able to enlighten us on the subject :D.

They store the names of things in files which people know of, I think they are referred to as 'externals'

Laurensh1

Yes, the names are in the externals: external texts (http://www.habbohotel.nl/gamedata/external?id=external_texts) & external variables. (http://www.habbohotel.nl/gamedata/external?id=external_variables) You can change the .nl to whatever Hotel. There you can find the names BUT, now with the flash client, there are different external texts (the flash ones) and I don't know the url of those.

But still, people find new furniture and Habbo features like Guide Bot with downloading Habbo's files, recovering them and opening them again and so compare to older files.

You used to be able to use castcopier to open the cct files which held the furniture sprite... But this is back in 04-06 or something, so I dunno if it
still works ;)

Nope I just need all the current ones really. But they need to be hosted on Habbo so I need the original names like:
http://images.habbohotel.com.au/c_images/catalogue/catalog_bank_headline1.gif
http://images.habbohotel.com.au/c_images/catalogue/catalog_diner_header_en.gif
http://images.habbohotel.com.au/c_images/catalogue/catalog_extra_headline1.gif
http://images.habbohotel.com.au/c_images/catalogue/catalog_gru_headline1_en.gif
http://images.habbohotel.com.au/c_images/catalogue/catalog_limited_headline1.gif
http://images.habbohotel.com.au/c_images/catalogue/rela_header_en.gif
http://images.habbohotel.com.au/c_images/catalogue/sf_header_en.gif
http://images.habbohotel.com.au/c_images/catalogue/ctlg_windows_headline1_en.gif
http://images.habbohotel.com.au/c_images/catalogue/kitchen_header_en.gif
http://images.habbohotel.com.au/c_images/catalogue/LT_header_en.gif

As you can see they are either:
xx_header_lang
ctlg_xx_headline1_lang
catalog_xx_header_lang
catalog_xx_headline1
catalog_xx_headline1_lang
etc.

Sorry for double post but I couldn't edit. I think habbo have stopped putting the images into the /c_images/catalogue/ folder because there are no furni headers/teasers older than like the bank.

Well, older would not be correct but newer wouldn't be either, as I just provided the link to a newer one.
I don't know the country one sorry :P
