hey, today after college i started having a hard time swallowing, saliva, juice, food, anything. And now, it seem that under my chin has like ballooned up, and the floor of my mouth under my tongue, one of the parts has swollen right up, i can barely even open my mouth. Anyone had this before? will it pass? should i see a doctor?

im more gutted i cant eat my rustlers bbq rib : {

Are you having trouble breathing or swallowing? Or what have you eaten today, maybe an allergic reaction.

erm, i had a pig outtoday.

cheese and ham baguette ( gf had it so i nicked half )
chips and cheese, coronation chicken baguette. is all i had before the pain started, but i have smoked like 10 **** today, but i doubt that has brought on anything as it hasn't before.

breathing is okay, abit sore on the bottom of my tongue part, swallowing is excruciating. i cant stand it.

Go to the doctors, or use the out of hours hotline.

Could be tonsilitis, my mum had it and found it hard to swallow but i'd go see the doctor.

Sounds like a stupid question, but is that 24/7? And is it England only or Scotland aswell?

Yeah there is always people you can contact, try online such as the NHS website or try googling for your local area.

It could be tonsilitis which I've had a number of times and can leave you in excruciating pain, especially when you try to swallow.
You could also have swollen glands maybe?
Go and see your doctor. They can prescribe you painkillers.

Yeah it could be tonsilitis, if when you wake up, you feel sick and have the shakes then it's probably tonsilitis, and you'll need to get penicilin. Go to your doctors.
