and you was playing for your team that you grew up supporting and you was on 80K a week and say a Massive Club wanted to buy you and they are prepared to pay you 150k a week, would you go?
I wouldn't go, even if i was earning 20k a week after tax and i was playing for United.. as long as i'm wanted at the Club i would reject it. :)
Yeah I would. Playing sport like that is all about developing your career. If you stay at one club the whole time you're never going to reach your full potential as you won't get the opportunity to play with a different team, except internationals. I could still support my club, just play for another and earn more money in the mean time.

It depends if the club I'm at is going places. It's good for you, B.I.C. (see what I did there?) your club win trophies every season. But if you played for your childhood team and they were West Ham and Liverpool came in for you, you've then got a chance to play in the CL rather than just hope for a mid-table finish. It's tough. I think for the majority of my career I'd stay with my club, then there comes a time where I need to think about my pocket. :P

For an almost doubled wage of course I'd go. You can support and respect a team without playing for them, and I'd hope that the guys there would support and respect me for wanting to further my career

depends on who came in for you. as we know there are rich clubs who could offer 150k but aren't winning trophies ;)
I would go as playing at a club like that means they can afford good players so you play with good players and therefore improve

I expected people to shoot down everyone who says they'd stay, but if I was a professional footballer playing for Liverpool I'd definitely stay.
Yeah I'm lucky my team happens to be one of the biggest (in the world?) in Europe at least but for example, I never go any team when I'm playing Fifa and if someone else I'm playing with wants them I'll just argue :P.
Besides, 40k or whatever figure you used as an example would be a ******* amazing wage! There's not really anything else I could buy with 150k that I couldn't already buy with an income like that. Oh and I'd actually make my episode of Cribs good :D.
i wouldn't go. Le Tiss didn't leave southampton all his career because he loved the club and he turned out fine? His house in Guernsey is actually pretty close he's a pretty sweet guy.

Depends what club, and what opportunities I would get.

I would only go depending on the club and the amount given to me. If I was playing for a club and got offered double my wages, then I would probably consider going. But if I was playing for City I would stay with them.

Nope. I take after John Terry, my main man.
