Yesterday my friend told me that the price droped for this one. I have to decide which one to buy before the price goes back.
Is Apple's latest operating system, Snow Leopard (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001AMHWP8?ie=UTF8&tag=shopguid0b-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B001AMHWP8), a strong, reliable OS that demonstrates the versatility of Macs?

Snow Leopard has just been released and it's only £25 upgrade. I'd look into that if I was you...

i use snow leopard. you might aswell use the most recent one, or leopard if you didn't want the previous. i wouldn't go for tiger as its too outdated imo.

If he doesn't, it might be an idea to help him rather than posting a snarky comment like that.

It's always best to go with the latest OS considering they always seems to get faster and take up less hard drive space, as opposed to windows which seems to do the opposite! So buy leopard and then upgrade to snow leopard if you can afford it :)
