Here we go lads ;).

July Preview: HabboxForum United F.C kicked off their new season in July, with 6 pre-season friendlies in the space of 18 days. We have been predicted as JOINT favourites with Leeds to win the Coca-Cola League 1 crown this season and be promoted to the Championship. But that will mean nothing if come May we haven't produced the goods on the pitch. Anyway, here is the month of July for United.

http://i26.tinypic.com/s0zf2d.jpg
Our first job of the new season was finding out who our opponents would be for the Carling Cup 1st Round. We drew fellow League 1 side Leyton Orient at home. A good draw all in all, and one that the Hatters will be expected to get through.

http://i30.tinypic.com/t7on6f.jpg
United's first game of the new season ended in defeat, as we lost out 2-0 to German giants Bayern Leverkusen. However their were alot of positives to take from the game, and it was a good performance against a good, strong European team. As you can see, I was excited to note down that our pink chequered 3rd kit had been used for the first time!

http://i27.tinypic.com/10xtyqo.jpg
2 goals from strikers Andy Fox and Stephen Andrews gave Kettle his first victory as HxF United boss, and also handed the Hatters their first win in pre-season. A good display from United.

http://i26.tinypic.com/33f9j45.jpg
An action packed encounter somehow ended goalless in France, with it certainly not being any of the forwards' day. An interesting friendly with RC Strasbourg.

http://i25.tinypic.com/r2vqr6.jpg
A goal from the penalty spot from midfield maestro Johnny Kelly wasn't enough to stop ruthless Reading tear through United on their way to a 3-1 victory.

http://i29.tinypic.com/2zi7ldy.jpg
An unbelievabely dull game in the first half game to life in the second, when Wayne Routledge put the home side 1-0 up. However United winger Max Coton equalised late on in the game, sending the travelling Hatters fans into ecstasy. Then, unbeliveabely - striker Samuel Warren put United 2-1 up against the Championship side. United continued to press for a 3rd and killer goal, but against all odds it was QPR who struck the final blow as Italian striker Angelo Balanta got the better of defenders Adam Brown AND Adam Wootten to strike home the late, dramatic equaliser. A fantastic match.

http://i29.tinypic.com/2ch9xnd.jpg
It was a bad (well, terrible) day at the office for the Hatters, as they ended their pre-season with a 5-1 thrashing at the hands of Charlton. In the first half Charlton ran rampant, smashing 4 goals past United and keeper Alex O'Connor, with 2 of the goals being down to mistakes from O'Connor. In the 2nd half, a reformed United side burst into life, pulling back a goal through striker Samuel Warren. Not long later Max Coton played a slick through ball into captain Adam Rose, who slotted the ball past the Charlton keeper. However, the decision given was that the goal was offside. Match footage after the game though clearly shows that Rose was in an onside position when the ball was played. After this incident, United to continue to press. However with their first attack of the half, Charlton grabbed a shock 5th goal through talented youngster Freddie Sears. A reality check for the Hatters.

Transfer News
http://i25.tinypic.com/2nbdr8p.jpg
It wasn't the busiest of months in the transfer market for the Hatters, but they did manage to land Plymouth centre back Krisztián Tímár for a fee believed to be around the region of Ł1.3m.

Player Statistics
http://i29.tinypic.com/fdyjq1.jpg
A good month for wingers Charlie Wright & Max Coton, but a poor one for defenders Ashley Young & Adam Wootten.

FACT: Winger Max Coton played in all 6 matches in July for United, coming off the bench in all of them.

July Review
Not the best of months results wise, but some good promising performances as we head towards the new season. Overall in July we Played 6, Won 1, Drew 2, Lost 3, Conceded 13 and scored 6.

2 Good, 2 Bad
2 Good - 2-2 vs QPR (May not of been a win, but a fantastic game and performance) & Charlie Wright (Impressive in pre season)
2 Bad - 5-1 vs Charlton (Terrible result) & Matty Hurst (No goals in 6 for the "star" striker)

What's to come in August?
August see's HabboxForum United F.C's competitive season kick off with a trip to one of the league's top sides Leicester, before hosting Leyton Orient 4 days later in the Carling Cup 1st Round. 3 days later the team will travel to Brighton before taking on Leeds in a massive game on the 23rd at Wembley. United finish the month at home against Scunnie on the 30th.

A decent month. Roll on August ;).

Here comes August, good luck reading :P.

August Preview: August saw the Hatters kick off their competitive season with alot of twists and turns, drama and competitions to look forward to over the coming months. Alot is expected of HxF United over the next few seasons.

http://i31.tinypic.com/hv73nn.jpg
The season kicked off with a tough-fought 2-1 loss away at Leicester. There were words exchanged between managers Pearson and Kettle before the game, and in the end it was Pearson and Leicester who got the last laugh, keeping Pearson's promise that they WOULD beat the Hatters. A brace from forward Steve Howard cancelled out new signing Krisztián Tímár's debut goal, handing City all 3 points at the Walkers Stadium.

http://i26.tinypic.com/2aesa6h.jpg
Goals from Maxwell Coton and Samuel Warren helped United towards their first victory of the (competitive) season, seeing off the challenge of fellow League 1er's Leyton Orient to progress through to the 2nd Round of the Carling Cup.

http://i26.tinypic.com/1zn09ef.jpg
As a reward for our 2-1 triumph over Orient in the 1st Round, we were rewarded with a tough away tie against Premier League Fulham.

http://i27.tinypic.com/vsj235.jpg
A 19th minute strike from Craig Davies saw Brighton take a deserved 3 points from their game with HxF United. Not the greatest of performances from the Hatters, but also certainly not the worst.

http://i27.tinypic.com/143qf10.jpg
A game dominated by United from start to finish somehow didn't end up with the Hatters celebrating their first 3 points of the new campaign. Young striker Samuel Warren put the home side 1-0 up in the Battle of the League Favourites, and United continued to dominate throughout the game. However the failure to execute and finish off the chances that the Hatters created proved costly, as 9 minutes from time an optimistic ball into the box from Neil Kilkenny found Jonathan Howson, who was there to tap the ball in from close range with keeper Alex O'Connor being caught off his line. A dissapointing 2 points dropped for HxF United, but still a point against their fellow league favourites.

http://i32.tinypic.com/11m3zw6.jpg
An inspired substitution by manager Harry Kettle saw super sub Stephen Andrews score 2 dramatic late goals to cancel out Simon Davies' opener for Fulham on the stroke of half time, thus sending the Premier League side crashing out. United progress to the 3rd Round after this fine performance.

http://i26.tinypic.com/1231ml3.jpg
After toppling Premier League Fulham in Round 2, United were rewarded with a home tie against Championship side Bristol City in Round 3, for a place in the 4th Round of the competition.

http://i31.tinypic.com/2dqixom.jpg
Gary Hooper's 18th minute strike handed 2nd place Scunnie an undeserved victory at Wembley. United had a bagful of chances throughout the match but, once again, couldn't convert them and were punished for it. Another dissapointing result for United.

Transfer News
It was an extremely busy month for United transfer wise as the summer transfer window came to a close. United brought in 4 players in August, landing CM Niko Kovac for Ł300k from Salzburg, young striker Nathan Delfouneso for Ł2.7m from Aston Villa, talented attacking midfielder Fernando Arce for Ł1.7m from Santos Laguna, and finally breaking the bank to sign PSV winger Balázs Dzsudzsák for a club record fee of Ł3.7m. These transfers add to the purchase of centre back Krisztián Tímár. It wasn't all good news though, Gerard, who came on a 4-week trial with United, went off to Burnley for Ł300k the minute that the trial ended, and just as Kettle was preparing to offer the Spanish midfielder a permanent contract with the club. Also, Rosenborg left-back Roy Miller's proposed move for a fee of Ł350k was called off at the last minute due to Miller not being able to obtain a work permit. United made the highest 4 signings in/out of League 1 in this transfer window, with Rickie Lambert's move to Barnsley from Bristol Rovers being the 5th highest. They also made the most additions to their squad, with 5 new faces at Wembley.

Player Statistics
http://i30.tinypic.com/1zxm92o.jpg
A good month for young striker Stephen Andrews, dispite appearing only 3 times in total in August. It was a good month also for captain Adam Rose and Ashley Young. Strikers Matty Hurst & Andy Fox both dissapointed in August.

FACT: Brown, Warren, Howard, O'Connor and Coton were the only players to have played some part in EVERY game for HxF United in August.

I am pleased to announce that a fantastic 12 HxF United players were called up for international duty in August. So congratulations to all those players, and a special mention to Johnny Kelly, who was the only player to be called up to the FIRST team, representing Northern Ireland. Also to Jake James, who was the only United player to score in the international matches, netting for the England U19's in their 2-1 friendly win over Croatia U19's.

League Table
http://i26.tinypic.com/2rddk4g.jpg
Obviously a dissapointing start and not where we want to be, but we can hopefully build up a good few wins, going on an unbeaten streak and slowly make our way up the League 1 table.

August Review
A poor month in terms of results, but once again some promising performances. We're going to have to start scoring more soon, though. In August we Played 6, Won 2, Drew 1, Lost 3. We also conceded 7 goals, and scored 6.

2 Good, 2 Bad
2 Good - Stephen Andrews (Super sub vs Fulham), 2-1 vs Fulham (great win over a Prem side)
2 Bad - Andy Fox (Poor performances lately), Gerard (So close to a deal til Burnley swooped in)

What's to come in September?
September brings another big dosage of games for United, starting with a home game against Crewe on the 13th before travelling to Brighton on the 17th for the 2nd time in a month for our re-arranged JPT Southern Section 1st Round match. There's then only a 3 day break til we travel to Cheltenham on the 20th, before finishing the month with back-to-back home games against Bristol City in the Carling Cup 3rd Round on the 24th, then finishing against Oldham on the 27th.

A poor month in all, but the transfers and some performances in the team are promising.

Time for the September update guys.

September Preview: After a poor start to the season HxF United were looking to bang in the goals left right and centre in September, which is what was required if they were to climb up the table to make up for their poor start.

http://i32.tinypic.com/2dl6nhe.jpg
The first task of the month was finding out that if we got through Brighton in our re-arranged JPT 1st Round tie, then we would take on League 2 side Bournemouth away in the 2nd Round. A good draw, but a big result needed against Brighton to get there.

http://i28.tinypic.com/5pfy1v.jpg
Goals from Warren, Andrews and a debut goal from Mexican Fernando Arce handed United their first league win of the season, and in some style. The performance and goals lifted the Hatters up a few places in the league table, and very much pleased manager Harry Kettle.

http://i28.tinypic.com/s30ak7.jpg
HxF United confirmed their place in the 2nd Round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy thanks to a wonder goal from midfielder Jake James. It wasn't the best of performances from United, but Brighton couldn't hit the back of the net and the Hatters will now play League 2 Bournemouth in the 2nd Round.

http://i27.tinypic.com/id7pn7.jpg
It was same old same old for United at Whaddon Road, as dispite dominating the game, once again we couldn't provide the finish when we needed it and that resulted in a 0-0 draw against Cheltenham. To add insult to injury, well, injury to insult, Adam Wootten and Stefan Campbell both picked up injuries in the game. Campbell's injury late on resulted in the Hatters having to play the remainder of the game with 10 men, due to United using all 3 of their substitutes earlier in the game. A dissapointing result, and one that Kettle and the Hatters will be looking to bounce back from quickly.

http://i25.tinypic.com/33ni72q.jpg
They say lightning never strikes twice, but it did at Wembley as HxF United once again defied the odds to defeat a higher opposition team, this time in the form of Championship side Bristol City, to reach the next round of the Carling Cup. United manager Kettle decided to take a gamble and start fan favourite striker Matty Hurst, dispite the striker not scoring all season. But just 2 minutes in Hurst repayed Kettle's trust in him by giving the home side a shock lead at Wembley. However in the 35th minute the Hatters were brought right back down to earth courtesy of a Lee Trundle strike. However, as the game looked destined for penalties after 30 grueling minutes of Extra Time, defender Adam Brown of all people was handed the chance to send United to the 4th Round after Maxwell Coton was brought down inside the area. He stepped up and slotted the ball in off the post, handing United a dramatic last minute victory at Wembley. A historic win and one that no Hatters fans will ever forget.

http://i26.tinypic.com/25ftyio.jpg
After their dramatic win against Bristol City, HxF United weren't so happy to learn that to reach the Carling Cup Quarter-Finals, they must defeat Premier League West Bromwich Albion. A tall order, but the Hatters will be confident after defeating a number of higher league opposition already in the competition.

http://i30.tinypic.com/2zz3hav.jpg
United were left frustrated again as a confident Oldham side held them to a 1-1 draw at Wembley in the Hatters last game in September. Stephen Andrews gave United the lead 5 minutes in before Sean Gregan equalised for the visitors just 10 minutes later. United were unable to break through again for the remainder of the match, despite their best efforts.

Transfer News
As most of you know, the transfer window shut on September 2nd at midnight. But loans are still avaliable to happen at any time throughout the duration of the season. Due to him not getting enough first team football and not performing up to the best of his abilities yet this season, I decided to see if any teams were interested in our friendly neighbourhood friend, Andy Fox. It turns out, they were. And 2 sides put bids in. Those 2 sides being Notts County and Bradford. I decided that Notts County were best for Andy, and a 3-month loan deal was agreed. So, without further a do, I now introduce our newest section to the update system.

FOX WATCH
http://i29.tinypic.com/2e3ok77.jpg
Fox Watch will be a section in the update in September, October, November and December until Andy returns to HxF United in mid-December. Andy played 2 games in September for County, and here is the report of one of them (vs Grimsby).

Player Stats

Another good month for striker Stephen Andrews, along with Adam Brown and Jake James. The new signings are also looking quite promising early on in their HxF United careers.

League Table
http://i32.tinypic.com/30c6syg.jpg
Dissapointing to still be in the relegation zone after 7 games, but with our game in hand and the run of games we have coming up, I strongly believe that come October we will definetely be out of the relegation zone, and atleast half way up the table.

September Review
Our best month of the season so far, but we still need to focus on picking up the points in our league games. A good record in September though, Played 5, Won 3, Drawn 2, Lost 0, Scored 7 and Conceded just 2.

2 Good, 2 Bad
2 Good - Adam Brown (great performances in September) & 2-1 vs Bristol City (fantastic victory)
2 Bad - Johnny Kelly (poor performances lately) & 0-0 vs Cheltenham (should have won the game).

What's to come in October?
United begin a hectic 8-game October with a trip to The Den to take on League 1 high-flyers Millwall on the 1st, before hosting Carlisle at Wembley just 3 days later. They then travel to Bournemouth on the 8th for their JPT Southern Section 2nd Round match, followed by another away match this time to Northampton on the 11th. The Hatters then have a weeks break before hosting Southend at home on the 18th, before a trip to Swindon on the 21st. 4 days later they host Walsall in the league before FINALLY finishing what will be a grueling month away to Peterborough on the 28th.

A big improvement this month, and hopefully a higher place in the league table AND a place in the Semi-Finals of the JPT South will be achieved by the end of October ;).

Here comes October people.

October Preview: United came in to October full of confidence, with 6 games to look forward to in 3, yes 3 different competitions. The Hatters had been playing some good football in recent weeks, and big things were expected in October as they continued to push for the play-offs.

http://i27.tinypic.com/2uh1h1j.jpg
The month of expectations got off to a poor start, with a 1-0 loss to League 1 high-flyers Millwall. Dispite having a number of oppurtunites to get something from the game it was the home side who walked away with all 3 points intact, thanks to a 28th minute strike from midfielder Paul Robinson. Another 3 vital points dropped for the Hatters.

http://i31.tinypic.com/2u6nrjs.jpg
Despite a penalty miss late in the first half by midfielder Jake James, HxF United ended up running away with the game against relegation strugglers Carlisle, thanks to goals from Adam Rose, defender Adam Brown, and the penalty misser himself, Jake James. A fantastic performance and a brilliant 3 points.

http://i26.tinypic.com/dngjnr.jpg
A quickfire double from star striker Stephen Andrews was enough to see off Southend at Wembley. The victory helped United move a good few places up in the table, and gave them lots of confidence to push on up the table.

http://i31.tinypic.com/2ec3oyg.jpg
If we get through Bournemouth in the JPT 2nd Round, we will take on a tough opposition in League 1 promotion contenders Millwall.

http://i27.tinypic.com/25s8s36.jpg
A tremendous first half from HxF United was too much for League 2 Bournemouth to come back from, as they strolled through to the JPT Quarter-Finals with a 4-1 demolition of the home side at Dean Court. The goals came from midfielders Jake James and Charlie Wright, and star striker Stephen Andrews who got a brace. An impressive result for the Hatters.

http://i32.tinypic.com/35mmaee.jpg
Goals from Stephen Andrews and Charlie Wright extended HxF United's winning streak to 4 games, after a 2-0 victory over Walsall at Wembley. It was a hard fought win, but a win neither the less and one that helped the Hatters' push for the play-offs.

http://i27.tinypic.com/do1ke1.jpg
HxF United will take on Blue Square Premier side Woking in the FA Cup 1st Round. A reasonably easy draw, but the non-leaguers will be up for an upset when they visit Wembley on the 9th November.

http://i27.tinypic.com/24m9gk6.jpg
HxF United's winning streak ended at London Road, as a dominant Peterborough picked up a deserved 1-0 victory. United defender Geraint Howard brought down Posh striker Aaron McLean just 2 minutes into the 2nd half, who confidently struck the penalty past United keeper Alex O'Connor. A dissapointing result, and one that will knock the Hatters' confidence.

Transfer News

http://i29.tinypic.com/2j5cufc.jpg
Moved up a good few places to 16th, and with 2 games in hand we're in a good position to make a push for the play-offs next month.

October Review
Our best month of the season ONCE AGAIN so far, as we picked up some good results in October. In all we Played 6, Won 4, Drawn 0, Lost 2, Scored 11 and Conceded just 3.

2 Good, 2 Bad
2 Good - Alex O'Connor (an ever consistent keeper) & Jake James (England U19's superstar)
2 Bad - 1-0 loss vs Peterborough (a dissapointing loss) & Johnny Kelly (NI International but poor for United)

What's to come in November?
United are involved in a mountainous 7 games in November, starting off with a home game against Yeovil, before travelling to Millwall for their JPT South Quarter-Final match. They then host BSP side Woking in the FA Cup 1st Round, before taking on Premier League West Brom in the 4th Round of the Carling Cup. 3 days alter they travel to London to take on Leyton Orient, before taking on Colchester at Wembley on the 22nd. The Hatters finish the month with a home game against Bristol Rovers.

So our best month so far, and hopefully more of the same is to come in November ;).

The rest was buisnesss as usual, with the usual players performing well (Stephen Andrews, Jake James, Adam Brown, Alex O'Connor, ect ect). Unfortunately, December is also at my mums so that'll also be just the games.

Please do not moan.

But there are 9 games to look forward to in December.

My apologies guys, the West Brom, Leyton Orient and Southend games all show THEIR team ratings, and not ours. The reason is all those games were played away from home, and I rushed the screenies so they came up with the home team's ratings. Sorry.

Yes, I'm going through the game but I've been busy lately so I'll be posting alot of updates when I've completed the season.

Stefan can you just make a brand new one or something please? This has gone beyond a joke for waiting for an update and I've lost interest now. :/

Haz wanted to carry it on, I offered to take the reigns but he didn't want it lol. Suppose I could set one up... would post em every couple of days, well try. As I have a lot of school A level work just lately.

What should we do?

Just to let everyone know, Haz just got in touch with me, and he said that he is carrying the game on and is doing everything possible, and he may update in the not to distant future.

He also said that he told everyone his reasons before hand, and he told me to tell you flame that 'no one was expecting an update anyway'.

On behalf of Haz. :)

Well if were not expecting an update, then were not expecting anything at all from this then?

Someone please just make a new team then? :(

Funny the amount of times we asked for it to be stickied. As soon as it is its being unused. Talk about bad timing.

How about you just sit back down and don't bring this thread up until I put an update in? Good boy.
