If it takes around 10 seconds (apprently) to fall off a skyscraper... could you imagine how much money he has!!

It depends. if it were out of coins then it would be different to like $1 bills or $100 bills. cos $1 bills would make it 100x higher than $100 bills.
No bill gates is not greedy. Yes he is one of the richest people in the world but he plans to give half of his fortune away soon ($20bn) and then the rest of it away by the time he dies. The money won't even stay in his family apart from a few million which is nothing in comparison.

No it can't be that fast. Maybe microsoft has that kind of income but not bill gates personally. His fortune would be a hell of a lot higher than $40bn if he got $7.8bn a year.

lol, he is a little richer than I last remember... although it doesn't state his income or his current wealth. The statistics are from 1999 and it states that stocks lost value. His personal wealth is a lot less than the stocks he owns.

AlexOC I don't know what you're complaining about, he's giving billions to Charity? Far more than anyone else in history and you're going on about how he should die etc. With as much money as he's pledged he's going to save millions of lives in Africa and IMO is one of the most remarkable people of our time, he makes the likes of Bono and Bob Geldof look ridiculous ;)

I cant understand how everyone is calling someone who worked hard for his money greedy. He has alot of money because he is an intelligent man who worked hard for it. Everyone commenting on this post wouldnt have been able to without the help of Bill Gates :s If I had £30 billion like hell would I be giving it all away, hes doing a great thing?

He's actually quite a decent looking person. For someone who lives in a sort of "glass house", he doesn't chuck too many stones about and seems to enjoy what he is doing. He gives so much to his charity too, which is a bonus :D
