Most people should already know, but if you don't it was out about 15 minutes ago. Here is the direct link (may not work) and also the link to the page. You don't have to enter your email to donwload, just click the download you need and then click download. Regards, Tom.

It seems as if they force released it, perhaps a pointless feature or two. It's only so they can release iTunes 9 on 9/9/9/

I think iTunes 7 was still out a year ago :/

Features? Nice new interface. Wishlists. New Store interface. MUCH BETTER SYNCING AT LAST. And a few bug fixes here and there. Oh; also; sharing with other macs.

Still looks like complete ass on Windows. Still takes 50 years to load (See: more than 1 second.)

Definitely an application to avoid on Windows until it gets an aero style theme or if you have an iPod/iPhone.

Definitely an application to avoid on Windows until it gets an aero style theme or if you have an iPod/iPhone.Although it takes a while to load up I've found it much better. My Movie and Podcats folders load instantly now, it used to freeze up and take a little while.

To be fair I don't think they've really added anything of value to iTunes but it is an improvement.

It loads up faster on my macbook than 8 did on snow leopard. :)

The interface looks slightly modified on my iMac. Other than that I haven't noticed anything else. I assume they've blocked syncing with a Palm Pre. Again.

Yeah, it's good apart from the fact that when you have an album which is 2 disks, it doesn't sort them out properly, it merges both of the disks together.

Indeed, instead of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. It goes 1, 1, 2, 2, etc...

Yeah, it's good apart from the fact that when you have an album which is 2 disks, it doesn't sort them out properly, it merges both of the disks together.

I'm not having the issues described, and I've spent the last few hours importing 600 songs into iTunes 9 (thought I ought to upgrade before I put all my music on the new HP)

The only thing I have, is that some scratched discs do freeze up after about 15 tracks. These discs worked on 8.1.
