There is a mute button in the corner, it travels across pages.

However, can we never ever ever ever ever, have sound enabled adverts. I greatly dissaprove and they are annoying. Also the Oxo is the most annoying sound ever.

I think they're all ads by google, so they can't control as much what kinds of ads are there. There were many inappropriate ads in the past. But yeh something needs to be done, because it's annoying many members.

Trust me I am just as annoyed with this as you are. We are in the middle of blocking the oxo advert from Habbox.

I am sure there should be some sort of moral code on flash ads that states no sound until the user rolls over the ad.

I have been intending to make this thread for a few days now :P. Yeah the mute isn't very effective so you have to resort to muting your speakers. I'm sure this would have a negative effect on Habbox Live.

After some testing it seems that if you roll over the advert within 3 or 4 seconds then the sound will turn on.

(1) FF isint a phase, it may be like a milisecond slower than other browsers, but it has the widest range of plugins available for any browser.
(2)I'm not asking them to install FF, I'm just saying quit moaning, if you dont want the ad, install an ad-blocker, dont cry about it.if you dont want firefox, or another browser that has an ad blocker, boo hoo
