The France goverment are trying to ban the two kisses on the cheeks to say hello in france to stop it spreading Swine Flu.

lolz, we do this like 100 times a day in portugal, its something you cant just say 'stop it' to. its a automatic thing

As if it would do anything and just talking to someone in general is enough to spread swine flu, provided one of you have it. The kiss greeting isn't a threat :/

No-one really cares about it in the UK either. Europe love disaster, especially the French :P Swine flu was just a tiny faze which people have gotten bored of, even this rubbish that it will hit hard in the autumn kept to tradition of not amounting to anything :P You're still alive for example, and it's beginning to get cold in the UK, yet swine flu is slowly dying out - Even faster now that it is getting cold. The WHO should be closed down and sued for wasting everyones time. Rediculous organisation :/

That isn't too right. It is part of culture and banning will anger most people. And by 'ban' they have to make it into law or else no one is going to care. Though this won't happen, it is proposed and not reccomended to do so, but hey the French government will have tumbling approval ratings by the end of the day.
