Would it be possible to enable it so that the quick reply setting is "No click required"? Its just a bit of a pain clicking the button every time to enable it?
If not, no problem!
i do think its to stop spammers, so, id say no

would be quite a cool feature. however, if it does stop spammers then i'd rather have to click quick reply than have the forum clogged with spam :)

Yeah, I like it too. :D
It's quicker if you read the first post in a thread, and want to reply, just click it and it takes you to the bottom. Lol. :) :D

Its only on MyBB that you can usally get it without having to click Quick Reply. But i think there is a few plug-ins/products for vB for it but honestly i dont think its worth it due to spammers :)

No it isn't, there is an option on vBulletin.

Correct.
I don't think it should be removed, the time it takes people to click on the button is that little bit longer they have to think about what they are posting.

i never said it stopped spammers? my post was in-reference to it only taking an extra few seconds to click 'quick reply' which isn't a bother/problem/inconvenience...
Don't be lazy. It takes no time at all :)
I like the easy access to the quick reply haha so i wouldn't mind it.
Stops spammers as you could easily make a script searching for a text box and thn posting. This way it has to fond a post, click the button, etc etc. And as each post varies, the quick reply button moves

I think most people are used to it and it takes what, an extra 2 seconds to click it? It'd be an un-necessary change if we did change it

I was using the point you made to direct a question at the general thread. Never mind though.
