Haven't saw this posted so thought I would.

Driving all of this is AMD's next-generation GPU, which will be announced later this month. I didn't leave out any letters, there's a single GPU driving all of these panels. The actual resolution being rendered at is 7680 x 3200; WoW got over 80 fps with the details maxed. This is the successor to the RV770. We can't talk specs but at today's AMD press conference two details are public: 2.15 billion transistors and over 2.5 TFLOPs of performance. As expected, but nice to know regardless.

Now to do something about those black gaps between each screen. Oh that'd be awesome. Mind you that's pretty epic.

SO HOW MUCH PLZ. Bets its close to the amount of resolution thats getting.

Aha, We'll see what Intel/nVidia say to it ;)

They'll make a bigger one, but it'll cost a bomb. Cuz thats what nVidia do, they overcharge most of the time. You can get the same kind of tech from AMD for like CHEAPO.

I've personally never used AMD products, so I wouldn't know, but I've been told loads of different things, so i'll stick with my intel and nvidia for now ;)

It's true, in re to current day tech, this won't hit consumers for years and years yet, so really, it isn't a middle finger to Intel

Eyefinity is included with the 5870, it'll be here in a month or so.

Also just to be a butt, it's ATi Eyefinity, not AMD.

But considering AMD own ATi it is AMD's Eyefinity.

They specifically changed the branding to ATi Eyefinity from AMD.
