Andrew Flintoff is giving serious consideration to becoming a freelancer cricketer according to his manager, Andrew Chandler, in a Sunday newspaper.

"He'll play for Chennai [Super Kings in the IPL], he might play for an Australian team, a South African team, maybe one in the West Indies," Chandler told the Observer.

I always said Flintoff only cares about money ... and not England. Selfish man he is.

And where is the proof that his 'agent' actually said this? all I see is a quote, until proven, I'm not buying this at all.

Wow, you got that news from a sports website? not exactly reliable, the only sports website I will ever believe is the BBC Sport website, as they aren't allowed to write bullcrap like others.

Go buy the Observer if you doubt it so much. The quote clearly says its the Observer.
ESPN is reliable. One of the biggest sport sites. Cricinfo.com is used by most cricketers and ex-cricketers write for them. They always break the news before BBC on cricket. BBC simple copy them and link to them, such as an article last month about the leaked email.

Telegraph for you: Here (http://news.google.co.uk/news/url?sa=t&ct2=uk%2F0_0_s_1_0_t&usg=AFQjCNGUnV1O8LWETiTkW-R_Ddx5D6a_Cw&cid=1312132569&ei=GHCtSvXdGpfcjQen54uWAw&rt=SEARCH&vm=STANDARD&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.telegraph.co.uk%2Fsport%2Fcri cket%2Fandrewflintoff%2F6183921%2FAndrew-Flintoffs-IPL-career-at-risk-if-ECB-England-contract-not-signed.html)

Like I said Google News Flintoff for proof.

ESPN is like SkySports, and don't say it isn't, cause it is, and SSN is forever giving bull..

wow, no you're telling me to go and read the papers? YOU BELIEVE THE PAPERS? just lol, fail.

ESPN is like SkySports, and don't say it isn't, cause it is, and SSN is forever giving bull..

Well they wont falesly quote someone ... and then have all the newspapers writing up on it.

You just cant admit that I was correct when I said Flintoff only cares about money :) ... even after I gave you strict proof.

I dont think you realise that if a newspaper lie and say I said something to them when I didnt, I can sue them ...

Believe what you want to believe, if he was going to go free lance, then why has he just signed a contract with the ECB for a lump sum, to play T20s and ODIs, and then be paid a permanent salary by his county? (incremental contract)

Did you miss that?

As far as I can see from the news articles, he hasnt yet signed the incremental contract. They only offered it to him. Please don't jump to conclusions.

Andrew Flintoff's IPL career at risk if ECB England contract not signed

I think you are the one seeing what you want to see as the above indicates that the contract has not been signed yet.

So now you are doubting:

The Observer
The Telegraph
The Guardian
ESPN
Daily Mail

how can you deny it? it's been confirmed by the ECB, as have the central contracts; http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/cricket/england/8250676.stm

Fast bowler Steve Harmison and spinner Monty Panesar have been dropped from the England and Wales Cricket Board's list of centrally contracted players.
All-rounder Andrew Flintoff, who has retired from Tests and is recovering from knee surgery, has an increment contract rather than a full deal.

I think that's game over, and the end of your theory.

I think you are mistaken, as he hasnt signed the contract yet, they only offered it. They didnt offer Monty or Harmison the contract, hence it says they have been dropped.
Again, as I said, you cant seriously doubt every newspaper? They are quoting his agent, and if they falesly quote it, then they can be sued, which newspapers try and avoid.

Well he should give priority to his country.
