As a member has made it clear to me that it's morally wrong to use two forums I'll create this thread here instead. Doubt I'll get a decent discussion but who knows.
Anyway, the ban hasn't stopped our Ade! Good on him (even if he probably has lost us the derby... then again who knows in football).

Pfft. City will be bought back to earth on Saturday. Just you wait. Same with what we did to spurs is the same what City are in store for.
Can;t wait to see the faces of em City players and fans. :)
We'll see who are the rags. :D

Alright bud, what's happening Saturday? I've got a five a side game going on, that's the only thing I can think of though...
How do you think you'll bring us back to earth when we're going into a derby on the back foot at OT? We're missing Tevez, Robinho, Adebayor and RSC... You don't believe we're already preparing for what might happen and what might not happen?
We'll see who the rags are? You fail to see this was a historic event which earnt you this nickname not a pisstake about how Mancunians pronounce 'City' like the "insult" the rag fans use against us ("Citeh").

Sunday, w/e. :)
Anyway, who cares if your missing Tevez.. blah blah blah.. You have Bellamy, Jo... Two good strikers... excuses "blad"
The rest of your squad is complete so, yeah, i'm not taking none of that crap.
It would of been good if Adye was playing, i'm sure the united players would of given him a lesson or two on how to behave on the pitch. ;)

Jo? I believe he's at Everton on loan.
We have one fit striker for Sunday, so much for being able to start an eleven of them.
You wont take any excuses? We have to change formation and tactics while we're missing a winger and two key players? Along with RSC who has however been out for the start of the season.
Given him a lesson on the pitch on how to behave?
True.
Neville could show him how to run over to away fans and only get a £5,000 fine.
Ferdinand could show him how to miss a drugs test and be banned.
Vidic could show him how to slap a Wigan player and get away it.
Evra could show him how to get in a fight with groundsmen at Stanford Bridge.
Rooney could show him how to stamp on players and get away with it.
Berbatov could show him... well actually he doesn't do anything all game to do anything dodgy...

Oh well, it's an excuse. Burnley beat us so compare the City sqaud (Players who are available for the game) to Burnley's one. :)
And when i meant lesson, i meant a physical lesson. ;)

OK then... compare playing at Turf Moore to playing at OT for all I care. I wont be too bothered whatever outcome happens on Sunday now. We still have a talented team to put out but the shine on my derby day has been rubbed off and added to the one at COMS when Tevez, Adebayor and Robbie are fit.
Urr... "on how to behave on the pitch". OK then, don't know how that relates to a physical lesson but alright then... :eusa_thin
Anyway, I'm off to watch the scum play now. Shouldn't you be doing the same?

How can you compare us to Burnley? The difference would be against us you have Ferdinand, and your team will have a bigger ambition to beat us than against Burnley as you underestimated them, whereas you wont underestimate City.
You still fail to show us some football knowledge.

Lmaooo, legend. At least the blokes got a bit of a sense of humour. I'm not bothered if he gets fined or banned or w.e, the stamp was a bit more serious than celebrating in front of Arsenal fans. The FA just need to realise that players who are passionate about their teams will do crazy things, nothing ever come of it so I don't know why they're kicking up a massive fuss about it.
If any Everton players did that to another team, I doubt there would be such a kick-up about it, it's just because Man City are doing pretty well so far and the FA want to make their lives hell LOL.

Meh, the actual celebration I didn't care about too much, he got booked, end of. But the fact that he thinks it's a joke when his actions caused several men to be fined/banned/arrested, and also got a steward injured means he is an arrogant and inconsiderate ****.
Doesn't really effect me or bother me but the people that he did cause harm too won't find it funny :P

NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO... NO. That's so wrong, it makes me feel sick.
If fans can give out stick to players they must expect it back in return.
When City fans torment O'shea for "being gay" (he isn't but you know) he laughs and then does something in return, normally a hand gesture. It's a laugh, you must be able to give and take.
Arsenal fans subjected Adebayor to so much abuse they were always going to get it back one day. Many managers the other day on SSN backed Adebayor for his celebration, one was even Roy Keane.
Grown men can't blame the actions of themselves on a player who simply gave banter/stick etc back to them. You control yourself, not another man.
City fans didn't charge to the front when Van Persie left the field of play and swore at us, Arsenal fans did it on purpose.
Oh and I think we're adopting Spuds new song for when we play the Arsenal next "Adebayorrr, Adebayorrrr, Stamped on your rapist, and slid on the floorrrrrrrrrrrr".

In the Rome and Seville game, the Seville fans were shouting abuse to a player named gwergsdga singing about how his dad had died etc which is just disgusting. After the match he started to cry. Its just really sickening to see fans sing such abuse to players and Adebayor is one of a many few players who has had the balls to stand up to the fans about it. What fans forget is that football players are human beings like themselves, and they play football for their job and earnings...

It's happened before, and it'll continue to happen.
Jack Collison after the Hammers-Millwall game is a good example.

I don't agree with fans being racist/abusing players e/c/t no. But, if your getting paid as much as he is, he should rise above it, not be stupid, run the pitch and celebrate infront of the opposite fans. He made that mistake, appologised and got booked, fair enough. But then he goes and does it in training, showing he wasn't really sorry and isn't bothered, which I think is wrong.
That's my opinion, people probably think it was just a joke or w/e but that's what I think anyway.

So your telling me its OK to shout abuse at other human beings? Even if it is racial, about their parents, or about someones death... That's quite sickening sorry. No-one deserves abuse like that to be said to them.

Ah sorry I slightly misread it. But you said 'he should stand up to it'. I can tell you something, if people were singing abuse about my family to me, I wouldn't be able to stand it, and if I had the chance I would have done what Adebayor did to the Arsenal fans. They shouldn't have given him verbal abuse if they couldn't take it back themselves, and many great footballers have been on Adebayor's side on this. Even Arsenal's legend Ian Wright.

Like I've said like 4 times already. The actual celebration, fair enough. He did it, Appologised, got booked, fine end off. Then taking the piss and doing it again in training, means he didn't mean his appology and doesn't know what he did wrong which is what I have a problem with.
