Notably, we’ve improved by more than 150% in Javascript performance since our very first beta, and by more than 25% since the most recent stable release.
This new release of Google Chrome is faster than ever, as we continue to provide a modern browser that starts up quickly from your desktop, and is fast to load web pages and web applications.

Seems fine to me, I don't think any speed bump in chrome is going to be noticeable anyway! The speed dial thing has a "pin this thing" feature which makes it a viable alternative to opera to me now, nothing else that stands out immediately though.

They've added a view source thing. Bowt time.

I'll be staying with Firefox, I believe Chrome is still lacking some features.

I would love to use Firefox but having problems with the latest release at the moment :(

If Chrome had Ad-Block Plus then i'd start using it instead of Firefox.

It keeps the downloads bar at the bottom of all tabs instead of the tab you downloaded the file from now, nice.

100/100 on the ACID 3 test too, not sure what it was before. http://acid3.acidtests.org/

You have to click the option saying About Google Chrome, there it will have 2 buttons, OK and Check Updates, click the check updates button and it should start looking for the update. Then just proceed to download (all browsers must be closed after updating)

Also all your bookmarks will be safe so no need to find them again and theres new themes that are avaiable to download and apply straight away

Nope, only Windows is what I heard in the other topic someone started but got closed, that was the reason why this one is in Microsoft & Windows :)

i like how chrome updates by itself. It just randomly does it for you. Didnt have to download anything without knowing it and it auto updated for me. I wouldnt have known there was a new version lol

it might just check like on a certain day. Mine certainly wasnt updated when this thread was made. If u want it to do it auto, just wait and it will.

It updates automatically if you give it enough time (using the GoogleUpdater process).

I'm definitely liking the Chrome 3 version.

@HotelUser, you're using the dev channel :p

View Source is crap, can't they make it like IE so when you view source you can edit it too.

All IE does is open it in your default text editor (notepad generally) as far as I can remember? What's stopping you in C+P'ing the source from Chrome over to a notepad document?
