It's estimated and is most likely wrong, Do you know what you should try, A broadband speed test it will tell you what your recieving.

But trty it out.

Woah, your dl is a tad slow.
your upload speed is average,

As at peak on 20mb broadband I was hitting around 600kbps

Hmm Is your youtube vid still uploading?

How big is the file? 1.9 what? GB? If so, that's about the right time.

Sorry to say, but the 10MB package has about the same upload speed as what you have now.

My best opinion would be for you to compress the file. It's hard to believe that even a HD video lasting 10 minutes would be anything more than 700MB.

I beg to differ, he said its an AVI. AVI's even with compression are dire, might be worth transcoding the video into h.264 ready youtube (as they recommend).

Notice this raw AVI file of a game render I did is only 11 seconds long, but 3.2gb ^_^

He just needs to open it in movie maker and convert it to HD WMV. Job Done. Hardly any quality is lost.

I usually get about 2mb upload, I would show a speedtest but its saying I have 19mb download so I know its glitched.

Speedtests are dependant on which server it comes from, Say you lived close to london and a server you were dling from was in london you would get close to top speeds slightly slower in peek times,

But yeah it depends on where the servers for speeds
Am I correct?
