Does anyone else find that they dont have enough plugs in their room, I have 3 sockets in total and Im constantly using adapters and stuff. I have like 6 things plugged into a 2 plug socket. I tried to plug in a 7 but the fuse blew so I cant. I just fitted a new adapter into socket and put an electrical heater on from another empty socket. I smell a bit of burning but I turned the heater off and it isnt as strong. Im just paranoid incase the house burns down :9

I totally agree Paul, I have only 3 in my room. 1 has blown which is annoying but lucky I have a laptop rather than a desktop as it may be hard to run it. I have a adapter also for other things like my TV, Lava Lamp, Hi-Fi & a lot of other stuff. Well annoying.
My house is rarely new as well, only 8 years old. Why didn't they make more plug sockets? In this day and age. I'm moving to an older house in the next couple of weeks. I think there will be less at this older house.

Yeahh have to agree too.
One side of my room I have two sockets with the right socket having a cube adapter in which holds an extra plug. It is my external hard drive, laptop charger and phone charger.
Behind my bed I have two more sockets which also has a cube adapter in. That has two lamps, television, playstion and mini fridge plugged into it lmaoo.
Oh dear.
i have one output. from that i have a
8 adapter, a 6 adapter and a 5 adapter, so in total i have 19 appliances running from it and it's been fine ;)
but i have a tiny room so yh

It's surprisingly cheap and easy to get an electrician to come round and put in more sockets, for example in the kitchen, there's 10 sockets.

Yes, I find this too.
I have two actual plug sockets in my room, witch both have multi sockets plugged into, so in total, I have 7 plug sockets, which is not enough! Haha! Oh well, I switch them about when I need to plug something else in! :D

DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT CHANGE THE FUSE, you will burn down your house.
Just a quick count, I have 16 plugs in my room (2 per box).

In this room I have two double sockets, so four. One has my phone charger, one has a radio clock and another has a cube adapter with a lamp and my laptop plugged in, with a spare socket on the adapter, so I'm fine :D.
In my uni room last year though, the room had one SINGLE socket! :eusa_wall So I had an extension adapter which had 5 or 6 sockets on it and then I had two cubes on that :P.
Those cubes are against health and safety now. NAUGHTY get the strip ones. xx

My Grandad is an electrician so I got him to put in alot more plugs, I orignially had 2, both had those cube things on them, but now I have 5 in a row on the wall, one with line thing with 4 extras on it. With those 8 plugs free is my TV, Hi-Fi, PS2, Computer, Monitor, My Laptop (when it's in my room, it always moves) and 2 free ones which I change what I plug into them when I need to.
Other 2 plugs are used for chargers (Phone and iPod) and occasionally a lamp.
And I know exactly what is meant by stepping on an upturned plug. +rep for reminding us all!

Really? Why?? :S The ones I have are dead modern as well, they have a switch and a little LED for each input so you can switch the three sockets on/off individually as and when needed.
