You probably need to play the game to see the brilliance of the soundtrack. By far the best NFS game btw ;).

Various Fifa soundtracks have been good as well but they've gradually deteriorated since 2000. There has been the occasional good song since then like Kasabian's LSF and KOL's Red Morning Light on 04.

Grand Theft Auto has had some great soundtracks of course. Hard to pick the best one though as each game has a few great songs.

Oh my goodness yeah, I forgot. Love the 80's music, I chose San Andreas though because they managed to fit more songs on it, but yeah, definatley love the 80's stuff, I have like 20% of my 1100 iPod songs are influenced because of that game.

I loved listening to Mr Mister - Broken Wings or Electric Light Orchestra - Four Little Diamonds as you ran over Columbian gang members. Classic. I wish they'd release Vice City into classics to download. I'd buy that.

I remember this and liked it a lot. My GTA1 CD also worked as a music CD so you could listen to all the tracks.

battlefield 1942 theme song. Nothing beats a good battlefield theme tune, even their free online game tune is awesome (if you don't annoye yourself hearing it constantly)

If anyone played Driver: Parallel Lines, that had a great soundtrack. The game was split into two eras and it had great music from both. I also loved the original Driver soundtrack come to think of it :D.

When I saw the Gears of War advert with Mad World on it, that alone made me want the game :P. Never got around to playing it though, don't suppose the song is actually on the game anyway.
