Right I always suck at these...
Backing track or no backing track?
What should I say?
xD I don't want it to be too cheesy or too sad. And I need Jess and Melsia to like it, so.. :}

There's no need for a backing track or anything, just your voice.
Just pretend you're DJing, you might feel a bit silly but no one cares ;) You could read out a few fake requests, announce a comp, start a topic of discussion, introduce the next song etc.
Keri?!

Exactly what Nicki said :D
I'd suggest you also be enthusiastic, cause noone likes boring DJ's eh :P
And it doesn't matter if your cheesy, just act as you would DJing..but in a voiceclip? :D
Yeh erm.
That there is a mistake often made ^. The phrase or even taret of 'erm' is a major put off in sound clips, make sure you avoid saying that, so the best thing to do is know (maybe via a plan) of what you are going to say. This will also boost confidence and will increase the quality of your sound clip by a major mile. Though a concern maybe that you start acting as a robot, so just act naturally at the same time. Just give it some welly and you'll be good :)
Good Luck!
