My unlce gave me his old Hp 2133 mini netbook and i was just wondering what this slot is on the side?

They are for locks, so you put something in there, turn a key + its got a chain on it, to secure it to things.

I had a bugger of a time on Wednesday, the IT guys made us put those locks in the walls in a classroom... lets just say, my palms hurt from all the weight I put on that screwdriver.
