Wrong Options

Okay, so I've been back at school 3 weeks now and so far my option subjects aren't going too well. I'm completely fine with History, I think it's a good lesson, but French and Geography are like hell, I didn't have a choice of three options when it came to picking, because everyone in the top set for french already had to do french and two other subjects. I just thought that it might be alright, so I tried it out, but I don't understand it, my teacher says I'm good but I don't feel good, I still feel that my knowledge of french is exactly the same as it was when I was in Year 6. Already the work we've started off with is hard, most of my friends have trouble with it too. And then there's Geography, which again I didn't think I'd be having. I originally did pick it, but then I asked my Head of Year to change it to Media Studies about three days after I handed in the form, and she said she'd get back to me if the class was full. But she never got back to me, so I thought that she must of changed it, then when I come back for Year 10, it says Geography!
I've told my friends I want to change my Geography or French to Media, but they say that Media Studies is full, so I feel like I'm at a dead end in my school life. I can't stand going through French and Geog for 2 years, and I'd like my future career to be Film Directing..
I'm talking to one of the teachers about it on Monday, he deals with lessons, but I'm really worried in-case he says no, I don't know what to do if he does! :cry:

Well even if you still have to do them, you can try do Media Studies in Sixth Form of College, those qualfications are worth more anyways, also you don't need Media to learn it at Degree etc, just the drive to learn it and the right grades. And still if you can't get into Media try asking what other subjects you could do, there might be one or two you might like in comparison to the others, so you won't be able to do Media but at least you wont have to do 2 subjects you hate :P.

My options messed up aswell. I had 3 option blocks
In my first I picked IT and History as 2nd option
In my second I picked Geography and Woodwork as 2nd option
In my third I picked College and Graphics as 2nd option.
I got into college and I still got graphics. So I dont have anything from my 2nd option block.

But anyway, Just hope your teacher says yes, and if he/she does not, TRy and get the closest thing to media studies.
