Need Ideas

OK, Im writting a book, I need to know weather to write a full novel or a short story, but not to short:

Story: The Michael Edwards Chronicles, The Golden Knight.
Based:
This boy lives in a magical world, poor boy. His world gets taken over by the "Darkness" and he can stop the "Darkness" is to become the "Golden Knight" TM.

I need ideas for inside story, at end of it. I will put at credits your name if you leave it.

Hmm, somehow the evil gods are making the whole sky black for so long or something. and in the end he stabs him with a fork. or something along those lines, maybe a little more mystical

Your first step is the wrong one. If you have the ability to write a book, you have the ability to do it by yourself. If you can't come up with the story by yourself, you can't write a book. Never ever share your ideas and never go out on a limb with them. Keep your ideas to yourself and write.

How about they have a fight in his home town, and he ends up killing the god with a pitch fork.

Unless you get contributors to your book under contract and your book is published, people will sue you.
