PES vs FIFA

Which do you think is better?

I used to prefer PES because of it's fast pace gameplay. But then I noticed even if your not good a shooting (so for example, you can be a defender) if you get the right power and height it'll go in. Whereas in fifa there's a 1 in 1000 chance you'll score a good screamer with a defender.

Also in FIFA you can do more like Finesse and that.

Although I haven't actively played console games since like 2006, I always preferred FIFA. However, I think if I was to still be in interested in console gaming I'd prefer PES.

PES used to be better, now Fifa has taken over big time. Just look at the two new Demos, not 1 person I have talked to has rated the PES Demo, but the Fifa one is rated highly.

PES was king till FIFA got sense and kicked it's butt to the Himalayas.

Fifa for me but i always did prefer PES up until after PES 6

This doesn't make sense to me because even though I've hardly played PES, everyone used to go on about it when FIFA was good. Now I reckon FIFA has gone crap and everyone loves it and hates PES :P.

I find PES far more fun tbh, PES 09 was awful and so I avoided it but 10 is fantastic. As for defenders scoring, it does tend to happen lol - it's not like being a non-striking footballer instantly means the ball won't go where you want it, professionals are usually quite good at kicking it

PES has gone downhill ever since they changed it with the first release on next-gen consoles.

I honestly can't see how anyone can say PES is better. I'm not a fanboy by any stretch as I want the best game but PES is just simply awful. Ping pong at it's best.
