Bet you don't get requests like this too often, but if anyone has the time and wants to save me hours of learning microsoft excel, could someone please make me a sheet as follows:

Column 1 - Date - nothing too difficult, will just be entering the date in here
Column 2 - Start time - again, this will be filled in by me
Column 3 - End time - "
Column 4 - Pay rate - drop down box with two options, £8.07 and £10.09
Column 5 - Hours - end time take away start time and give this number in the form of the number of hours done, e.g. 4, 6.5
Column 6 - Pay - Column 5*4

Then a total box underneath totalling column 6

Also if the formulas automatically update when adding a new row that would be great,

Thanks

He wants the amount of time worked, so if you worked 9 till 11 it'd show 2.

ok tar, the examples were to ensure the number was given in general format so it will multiply by the pay rate properly, like half hour periods displaying as .5

Blob that looked exactly what I needed, but there's a problem in that if you input something such as 14:00 till 20:30, it will put 6 in the hours box rather than 6.5?

So could u take another look at it please, tar

uhm lol, your spreadsheet suggests that a 14:00 while 20:30 shift = 6:30 hrs and a pay of £2.19 at £8.07 an hr :/

Yes, it doesn't work with half hours, which is why I didn't put them in. Want it to work? Do it yourself.

Well it was a free request and he's done most of the work so it's better than nothing :P Google it and see if you can work it out for yourself
