Great place. We didn't get to see too much of it because we went for the football more than anything but if you're going with Geography I'm sure you'll go to places further than Reykjavik. When I was there, I was looking through some guids on places to visit and some places looked awesome but we were never going to see them.
I wish I could go on all these school trips to places. Furthest my school goes is the odd Spain or skiing trip in Austria not for educational purposes. Furthest I've been with GCSE Geography is my town centre and I went to Bristol Zoo in Year 7. mmm, fun.

It's amazing, you should definately go. The natural landmarks are amazing. Everyone always get's all hyped about the geysers and that but the waterfalls are where the real money is at.
Definately go, don't miss out on that chance.

Sorry for the bump but I just found these videos I took while I was over there a few years back, if you were still struggling with the decision these might sway you!

That's me talking crap in the last video saying that it's "too unbelievable to beleive", lol. It is amazing though and you're right there next to them all the time, there aren't any fences you can just look over the edge. Although they do get a lot of suicides apparently.

I thought you mean the supermarket. Whenever I go Switzerland with the school, it costs 600 quid for the accommodation, food, equipment and the rest.
