Ok, so you currently have some thrones and super rares and the Habbo market is a complete mess at the moment so you are looking to find the best investment to save yourself from losing on your "worth". The throne was rising strongly and as alot of people will notice it froze at 20 hcs and didnt really rise from that point. Now despite the fact that the habbox values were still slowly rising it didnt seem to phase the average user on habbo and they still traded for 20 hcs. I dont know if you all would agree with me but the decline is now coming into effect and it is increasingly becoming harder to get 20 hcs for your throne and alot of users are already trading their thrones for 19-19.5 hc and this is so far has been a rapid decrease just the same way as they began to rise. Without offending anyone here, the higher your worth is the more you stand to lose on a shifting throne price, for instance if you own a dino egg which I will value at 5 thrones and 10 hcs if and when the throne drops to 19 hcs you have just lost a total of 5 hcs on your dino egg. Multiply this on a scale of someone having a casino which is worth 100 thrones. This casino owner may not even posess a single throne he may have 20 dinos in his casino but the worth is 100 thrones and once that throne drops from 20 hcs to 19 hcs he has just taken a loss of 100 hcs which would reduce his worth down to under 95 thrones. Trading your items and investing in HC's at the right time can be the key to your growing or decreasing wealth. Alot of users like myself would definately rather have a casino with 60 thrones stacked around the walls with supers just for the overall appearance, and it is unlikely to see someone exchange in 100 thrones worth to end up with 2000 hcs in storage. Over time when people ask me how I got rich, I can only say that by following these simple steps and guidelines is how I had managed to obtain and also retain my wealth. It can be a pain to have to trade in 100 thrones to get the 2000 hcs but in the event that the throne begins a decline to 15 hcs you have actually just saved yourself 500 hcs (25% of your worth) by making that investment. Yes I was bored, and yes this is generally common sense a trader should have but however you want to look at it, the key to getting rich really is not just in trading and it almost never happens from betting in casinos rather it has alot to do with watching the market and making the right investments. For some people having 100 thrones is good enough and they really dont care much about getting richer because the 100 thrones is still something to admire, but with the right investments if you sold at 20 hcs and then 3 months later they were down to 15 hcs you could increase your worth to 125 thrones just because of that move. Im sure there are alot of people out there that still have their thrones that they aquired when they were worth in the area of 10-15 hcs.

Thanks for reading, I know I probably bored the hell out of anyone who got to this point ;)

Wise words.

Thanks :)

What does anyone think about the idea of "IF" Habbo ever decided to release the throne for a limited amount of time, something like what happened with the orange parasol. Do you think it would be more of a financial gain to habbo in the long run or more damaging? Thrones would be easier to obtain, so would the average user be spending more on credits or less after the release?

I think it's hard to say because with thrones at 20 hcs, people who want more thrones would have to buy more credits or more "HC's" to get that throne. With thrones at 10 hcs they are much easier to obtain which could cause more users to become involved in rare trading or existing users might want to increase their posession of thrones and decide to make a nice deposit.

I just hope that we never see them in the catalogue even if it is only for 1 minute.

The fascinating market of habbo rare trading ;) :o

I think your method sounds very promising, I'm going to try it soon :P Thanks for the tip.

I totally agree with you. This can be applied to all rares, for example as i have mentioned before when petals were in the catalogue I traded my hcs for 30 petals paying around 1- 1.5hc each I still have these petals... look at the value now.

Thrones I believe will decline in value that is why I currently have none! Even though people say they are still in demand no matter how many are given out I feel sooner or later they will become a lot more common.. the staff do give out alot frequently.

I can also see the decline, plus with all the trouble in the hotel lately you dont see too much trading let alone any super rare trading.

which would reduce his worth down to under 95 thrones.

Actually, it wouldn't make your value in THRONES to go down, it would make your value in hcs & credits go down.

Also, you'd be worth more thrones if you had 20 dinos, because all are still worth 5t 10 hc, but the throne went down to 19, it would take less of those spare hcs....

Ex- in your example, 20 dinos. 5t 10 hc ea. that's 100t 200 hc. if you were to buy pure thrones, you'd get 100t+200/(cost of throne)
if the throne was 20 hc, you would have 10 thrones off the hcs.
if the throne was 19 hc, you would have 10 thrones and 10 spare hcs.

So, if you're going by the amount of thrones you can afford, you profited, if by hcs, you lost...

Lmk if i have to explain this better, i probrably lost half of you in the first few sentances ;)
