To Habbo(x) competitions. I'm not trying to be sad or anything but competitions are there to be earned, not someone getting the answer off of someone else. It makes competitions unfair and the badges become common. I don't know if anyone agrees with me but I reckon it should.

If you've been seeing this happen, you need to let us know and we can put a stop to it. There's always the fear with certain competitions (such as the Habbox Virus quest) that the answers will just be given out. The Competitions Department will not tolerate cheating of this nature and the person who gave the answer and the person who took the answer will be banned from competitions in the future.

I always say 'Just means you're less likely to win' if you give the answers to someone. ;)

I haven't seen Habbox ones but certainly Habbo ones... I'm sure habbox answers are already against the rules but I don't think answers to competitions should be given out via the forum

I don't know why you're so bothered about the Habbo badges from quests becoming so common just because a few other people (around 10 or so) get the answer from this forum, seriously, thousands of people will have the badge, stopping people from giving the answers out on this forum will do nothing.

I just want people to work for their badges say there was a hard quest and it was announced on this forum - it will spread. Is it fair if you spent some time trying to get a prize/badge and then found it was on a forum already? :S

It's not fair, but life isn't fair anyway. People are always going to cheat, you won't be able to stop it. And work hard for badges? Going through rooms to find an answer isn't exactly hard work :P

Well that's the quests habbo sets, too childish. If it was made hard you would care but yeah I guess life isn't fair...

Much harder work than clicking a spoiler

I think this is all about personal gain. I'm sure more people want the answers then don't want the answers. It's different with habbox competitions because they're smaller. Thousands of people enter the Habbo competitions so posting the answer on here won't make much difference especially when the answers are spammed over Habbo constantly.

You choose tot spend the time doing the quest for example to ease your boredom. You could be like me and wait for all the answers and still get the prize. You choose to participate, it's not like you have to thus it doesn't really matter if there are nice people who want to spread the answers to give everyone the same chance.

The whole idea why they do quests is for you to have fun, the badge or furni imo is just an added extra so stop just thinking about prizes and have fun!

And i havent sen anybody give answers for any hx comp

Agreed with both points. I love the fact you say Habbo(x) competitions but then when Michael asks where - you respond that you haven't seen any Habbox ones :S

Are you saying that posting answers for Habbo Quests should be made against the rules? If that's what you are saying I have some sympathy with that.

As far as habbox compeititions are concerned - the answers should never be leaked and I am sure action would be taken against any staff that is found to have done this.

I think he just exaggerated to get his point across. Habbox answers are never posted.

There's nothing in Sulake's Terms & Conditions for Habbo that states competition answers should not be published or spread in any way. If they don't care, I don't see why Habbox should care.

To say it makes badges a lot more common is a joke because badges are rarely given out in small quantities any more, especially in such quests and competitions. Additionally, the amount gained by people reading published answers is minimal compared to the overall amount of winners.

If you still think badges are worth working for, then fair enough - but as someone said, the main idea is to have fun completing the quests while the final reward is an added bonus :).

Which can't be done if people are giving out the answers! Now that I know you're talking about Habbo competitions as well, I think that there should be something done about the answer-sharing. It just ruins it for those who want to actually do it. Possibly be made to put [spoiler] in the title or use spoiler tags? :)

Lol I think half of us are talking about habbo comps and half of us are talking about habbox comps :P

I think there's a case for saying the answers to habbo competitions shouldn't be posted until the competition is over because it might spoil it for people who want to work it out for themselves.

I think maybe there should be a rule to put spoilers on them, but tbh most ppl do

Yeah. I don't think it should be stopped completely yet I can emphasise with those who try hard, like I used to. Spoilers is the way forward.

I think its safe to say that this is a problem with Habbo competitions and not Habbox competitions and its very simple why.

In a Habbo competition, as many people as complete the quest can win a badge

In a HabboX competition, others knowing the answers decreases your chance of an award.

Admittedly, for some Habbo competitions, a select group of people would get the prize so the Habbox Comps logic would seem to apply, but your chances are so remote anyway, another 100 people won't matter :P

As far as Habbo competitions, we've always allowed giving out answers because us banning it would not change that it was given out, people would just go to other forums for the information.

Tbh if you want to do it don't view the post "<QUEST/COMPETITION NAME HERE> ANSWER" then you won't have to worry

People put the answers in spoilers, it's our choice to look at the answers.
You're only saying this because you're being selfish about it and just want the badge to be yours and a few others :/.

If a thousands of people got it out of hard work I wouldn't give a ****
If a few thousand got it working hard and the other few thousand didn't do anything I would mind

Accusing me of being selfish is childish ;/ Whether the whole of Habbo get it I don't care IF they genuinely got it by working for it

habbo quests r not hard lol u click a few teles and go thru rooms and find a word on a sticky n write it down...

posting a thread on habbox gives what 10-30 people the answer, probs not even near 30 people, alot more people get it by someone telling them on habbo or doing it themself.

Regardless of whether its posted or not it doesn't matter, its a badge, get over it :S

Should be 'Against the rules to post answers on forum without being in spoiler'.
As someone said earlier, our choice to open spoilers.

Sorry, forgot to quote this:

To Habbo(x) competitions. I'm not trying to be sad or anything but competitions are there to be earned, not someone getting the answer off of someone else. It makes competitions unfair and the badges become common. I don't know if anyone agrees with me but I reckon it should.

K, easy answer. Most Habbo comps have 100000000's of people send in the answer. But no matter how many people do, only a certain amount of people actually win. Like the last comp, only a random... 5?.. got to have a badge.

As with Habbox competitions, there's never just 1 answer to begin with. So what the hell you talking about there?

Stop your whining, if you don't want answers, don't open spoilers.
