Most colleges and 6th forms have them.
What do you hate about the, because alot of people seem to but I dont see why :S They are light weight, dont really get in the way of anything and depending on what you wear can hardly be seen either.

I would say its cause it means another card you 'have' to carry around with you everywhere, so its another place taken in your wallet/purse etc. The cards are basically a driving license and if you have a license theres no other reason to carry ID around with you :P. I personally don't have a problem with it, I've got my license, student id, blood donor card and whatnot in my wallet, since I don't really use them I'm not all that bothered because I just put them in a place that wont hinder any space in my wallet.

We have to wear them on show all the time at college, it's usually the girls that moan about them. Doesn't bother me.

secondary was around 1500.

i go college now so like 250 aprox.

the college isn't literally attached to the main school but it's the same thing, same teachers etc just on a different site. so like 1750.

our schools getting a system soon, when the new school's built so that we have to use ID cards to register into classes using a thingy on the wall, to log onto computers, just swipe it... to get in certain classrooms, etc. so only sixth form can get into sixth form n stuff... excellent 8-l

we just have a 'smartcard' which we use for the library, to buy food with and dunno what else really. i haven't had one since the end of year 11 (year 13 now), so easily managed without one. rly so glad ours aint as important compared to other sixth forms.

you don't have to wear them around your neck, you can wear them anywhere as long as their on show, i wear my round my belt slot and stuff the rest of the string into that mini jean pocket.

they don't bother me, just the mug shot on it does, where it looks like i have no eyes just eyebrows to the middle of my nose.
