If you had to choose 1 item out of all your weekly shop to be the cheapest of the cheapest e.g asda smart price (which is like 4p for shampoo) what would it be? This is actually quite a hard one for me. Cheap toilet roll hurts your ass, cheap kitchen roll falls to bits, cheap milk tastes like crap, pretty much all super value food tastes horrible. Suppose I would have to say sugar...

Its wierd that, you will have asda smart price on 1 side for like 9p and a branded pack a few shelves down for like 55p, and i cant even taste the differnce!!

I buy brands because that's just what I do, however, if people looked through the whole "cheap" aspect of "basic" brands, 90 percent of the time you'll find products that are exactly the same. Some are even made by brand names and sold on.
