First of all, if this is impossible to do then I would kindly like to ask a Moderator to close the thread.
Basically, a lot of problems are caused by quotes. Original posts gets edited yet if that post has been quoted then that quote will stay the same. This means that if anyone posts then wishes to edit it and while doing that someone decides to quote them, the quote will show the original post and that may not be what the original poster wanted. An example of this which just happened to me, (like it does everyday) is here:
http://www.habboxforum.com/showthread.php?p=6081448#post6081448
As you can see, Invincible quoted me when while I was updating my post.
Another good reason for this to be put into place is so that when Moderators edit bad posts, any quotes of that bad post will also be edited. This means that the Moderators will never be blamed for missing a post again! And of course, the bad post will definitely be out of sight so nobody would be offended by that post, this could cut down on arguments quite a bit too.
Like I said at the start of this post, I don't know anything about vBulletin therefore am unsure as to whether this is possible.
